Correct. I group for almost every thing I do because I used to level solo entirely and now I realize how much more fun it is to just "socialize" with other people in a group.

Changing the way this system works would be beneficial to new players to prevent confusion. Might as well just remove the pvp option here to prevent further frustration. It seems to me that the OP got robbed and we should just prevent further mistakes like this from happening through a fix of some sort is all I would suggest.

Game design is less about one player and is more about the benefit to all players. Typically you want to change things like this to prevent further errors/issues.

Is it too much to read for you? Is it too complicated? Does it sound clever playing HC without reading the mentioned threads?

Players like the OP make grieving even possible (and fun i have to admit :D).

So why can't you do that when someone clicks Kill, when you clicked help? You have time to react.

Idk, seems the OP wasn't whining and instead brought up a possible issue that may need fixing. I think you guys are being a bit too harsh and need to lay off your aggression towards others.

This has been in the game since they introduced the bandit quest. They're not changing it. Chris put this in on purpose. Don't trust people, this isn't the care bear game that you may think it is.

SOLUTION TO PROBLEM OP HAS:

Be the first to click your desired choice (kill or help), if anyone chooses the opposite, PROCEED TO EXIT GAME IMMEDIATELY.

Don't fix what isn't broken

I can see you are attempting to be helpful, but here's some criticism for you:

Try to be nicer to people, or at least not be condescending if you are going to insult others.


This is something that could be improved though. A minor change is all it would take. Very minor.

I don't play HC, yet, but I did not know that, and would have probably run straight into it.



Why is there a quest where you can gank other players, preferably noobs, in HC?!

To everyone that thinks it is as simple as "leave when you see someone choose differently" - that doesn't work when 5 people simul lock. These guys were sitting on skype or something planning this out.
The only thing the bandit pvp aspect is good for is to make sure I have to play alone.
This is an amazing aspect of the game. Hahahaa
