" OP isn't whining. This is what is called a "concern" and could also be seen as "feedback". Great analysis! IGN: Mibuwolf Last edited by mibuwolf#7946 on Feb 13, 2013, 10:56:16 AM

If OP had won the fight would we have seen others in here complaining about griefing? it sounds to me like he went in there with random people assuming that they would agree with his decision. He decided first, didn't consider what they were going to do, and died.
It doesn't sound like griefing. Just poor planning. In Wraeclast, if someone tries to kill you... you just kill them right back.

" Question: Why would anyone group up for Oak only to decide to help him which wouldn't even require a group at all? My assumption here is that the groups entire purpose was to kill Oak and 'probably' had a group titled "Kill Oak" or something similar. Become a necromancer, play solo, roll face all the bandits.

" I lol'd " Helpful post chap. OP has a legitimate concern and everyone gotta bring him down it seems. IGN: Mibuwolf Last edited by mibuwolf#7946 on Feb 13, 2013, 11:29:35 AM

" The only reason that anyone would need to group up randomly to do a bandit event is if they hope that the party carries them because they can't beat it solo. Otherwise, why would you put yourself through the scrutiny? Considering this, I find that the added danger of getting WTFPWNED by your party to be welcomed. " ... not even gonna debate this one. I disagree with you on so many levels. Good day. IGN: Mibuwolf

I regularly end up having to ask for help on Oak.
Mostly because I've a tendency to play squishy kiting types and those don't handle Oak (or Kraityn for that matter) too well. I can normally take the two first ones just fine (Well I die a bunch on Kraityn, but you know, softcore) but Oak with his combination of high HP and damage normally ends up causing me no end of problems. So when I do ask for help on him, I'll wait until my "friends" have voted before voting. It's served me well so far, a few times I even saw that the others had voted to 'help the bandit' so I went "nice try", dropped party and found someone else to help me. Never been killed on the bandit quests, so yay me I suppose. My leech/double strike marauder just facetanked Oak though, fun times. Closed beta member since: March 19, 2012

" Reasons as to why someone would jump into a pug to do bandits then? If it's the social factor then at least the OP knows who not to group with in Wraeclast! Not that doing the bandit quests in a group is bad or anything, I just would never put myself through the torture of doing it in a pug. Last edited by Elynole#2906 on Feb 13, 2013, 11:49:07 AM
