+1 to agree. Why limit options if its easy to turn down those effects. You allow us to turn off shadows... (Which if you are reading this and haven't done so by now, uh...give it a try)

Just sayin'.

But but you wont be seein then my shiny shiny MTXes :< snif snif
Whats the point in all my particle MTXes if i cant shovel them to your eyes and bake shit pc ?

GGG will never introduce "disable party members mtxes" button. It would kill their whole business model.

So be happy :))

But you can still enjoy your MTX's without laggy people seeing them..... and if there were an option for us not to see your's, you wouldn't know who could see your's or who couldn't so you would probably still get them just because you know there are some people that will still have parties MTX's visible. Shouldn't effect there business model at all imo.

Skills MTXes is not all of the microtransaction store you know...
Shiny monster PC boys boys will continue to show off their MTXes to other shiny monster PC boys.

but need to let less shiny and less richy boys to enjoy the game without having 60~5 FPS drops..

Also would you rather party with someone that lags because of your MTX's, making them less effective at the game because of poor FPS, or would you rather party with someone that doesn't lag as a result of your MTX? Just another reason for such an option.

But the option shouldn't be limited to MTX as they aren't exclusively the issue.

Also to whoever said D3's graphics engine is similar to POE's but vastly better optimized? Yeah, no. The difference is Diablo 3's graphics engine supports a lot more types of visual effects allowing the work load to be spread across multiple components in the video card, where as POE largely relies on a handful of visual effect types and quickly overloads the hardware responsible for those kinds of effects. No matter how much optimizing GGG does, there won't be a significant improvement.

They've also repeatedly stated that their having trouble hiring a graphics programmer that could help add support for more types of visual effect. Support for more types of visual effects would allow them to change up all the visuals and spread the work load across the video card better, though it'd likely have a huge impact on how things look visually in the game (So even if they did get a graphics programmer, I wouldn't be surprised if they take graphics changes slowly instead of just suddenly having everything look completely different)
Computer specifications:
Windows 10 Pro x64 | AMD Ryzen 5800X3D | ASUS Crosshair VIII Hero (WiFi) Motherboard | 16GB 3600MHz RAM | MSI Geforce 1070Ti Gamer | Corsair AX 760watt PSU | Samsung 860 Pro 512GB SSD & WD Black FZEX HDD
^^ interesting point, as far as i understand it also has poor performance based on the number of calculations it does, whatever it is just got completely dced from yet another party. I really think ggg could perhaps support one of the remove particles programs that got banned, maybe do a checksum and announce there not banning till they fix their performance issues, of course they won't to this :D.

You dont understand... Gameplay does not matter AT ALL, you have to SEE these mtxses on other players for FREE advertisement and you are supposed to be jelly! Thats how this idiotic business model works.
If PoE would be subscription based im sure it would be different

Makes sense but... 1. visuals of my character doesn't have a big impact on me... I grew up playing atari, nes, gameboy etc etc. and 2. i'd buy stash tabs if I could afford to do so just to support GGG.... but atm i'm always broke... bills, kid, etc. and I'm sure there's quite a few people in a similar situation as my own.
