Short reminder that you shouldn't be around Fallout forums, subreddits or whatever. Turns out 4chan/8chan is much saltier than me and is spoiling the ending and other big plot details per public messages but also per private ones. Some people on Reddit are fuming with anger because of it.

/r/fo4 has been ablaze and /r/fallout to a lesser extent to help people avoid these really shitty people. They are literally sending inbox messages to people subscribed to the fallout subreddits and putting a huge ass spoiler before you realize what you are reading. I've avoided this crap so far at least, spoiling only what I want to, which is generally just pictures.

Not sure how I feel about all the gameplay that's leaking out the wazoo. Kind of appreciate bland gameplay clips of "let me just kill these random bandits or mutants without providing any quest or story info" so I can pretend I'm playing to an extent but the people playing out the story line is the whole reason we have assholes leaking this info everywhere.

Bethesda hasnt made a new game in fucking ever. They just add more pointless bullshit.

Im pretty fucking tired of them ruining good series. The only series they made better was elder scrolls, and that was fucking forever ago. The last good thing they made was the dialogue wheel, which they proceeded to immeditely fuck up.

Skyrim was GTA2 with shittier graphics and a stupider plot. (is stupider even a word?)

So you skipped the part where they stated that everything that isn't bolted down has a use now?
An extension to that is just because there is stuff there doesn't mean you need to pick it up unless you perceive a use for it. You sound like we have a vacuum magnet in our characters that requires us to pick up every little thing immediately and haul ass back home when overencumbered. Although that would make a great attitude for a recycling activist...

I'm assuming F4's dialogue wheel isn't limited to four options. You take a first answer and that leads into other questions/answers just like previous games. Sure the limit of words for the choices looks a little scary but I think people will adapt to it. Unlikely Bethesda would make you say something entirely different tone-wise than what the preview was hinting at unlike other games that people are using as examples. If they do, then I will admit they f'ed up there.

And your final line is where I question the typical 'troll or just stupid' line. :)

I mean it will be a great shooter/exploration game, but a smelly shit rpg.

Already F3 was shit compared to F2 rpg possibilities.
Bethesda rpg died after Morrowind.

This game better run at 4k resolution/60fps out of the gate or I'm gonna be pissed. Got an I7 5820k OC'd to 4.6ghz and SLI 980 TIs, so it better freaking work.

I couldn't care less how it runs on peasant rigs. Peasants should just get the PS4 version anyway.



Oh, and they better have a developer console unlock day one so I can fix/redo all the broken quests I'm 100% guaranteed to run into that won't get patched for another 6 months. I was so mad in FA:NV over that bug I ran into for the power armor quest that wouldn't let me finish it. I had to wait until some website posted console commands to progress the quest flag to the next step before I could finish it. Trying to play a fallout game with no power armor just sucks major asscrack. I'll probably have a psychotic breakdown if that happens to me in FA4 and I'll had to be admitted again this year.

Id rather smoke crack than play another bethesda borefest. Perhaps im wrong, but since they crank out an open world rpg every year, and the last 10 have been the same game with different trees, yeah.

It was novel the first time, nows its just tired fucking tropes.

And thats not even getting into the fact that the last two fallouts werent Fallout in anything other than name. Just more open world bullshit with nothing to do besides fetchquests.
