The Guide to Loot Filters

I think the issue mainly presents itself in cases where two words are present. Utility Flask vs "Utility flask" has the same problem; one returns all flasks, the other does not.

Nevermind then. I'll do some further testing first.

Edit: It's a bit inconsistent.

Using:
"Sai" returns Saintly
"Chain Belt" only returns the belt
Chain Belt returns all chain and all belt

The latter two aren't inconsistent at all--that's the expected behavior of quotes in the vast majority of scripting setups. If it has a space but is to be treated as a single element, it needs quotes, end of story.

That said, the "Sai" picking up on Saintly Chainmail is a little pesky, since the other fairly common standard is that quotes specify an exact match. On the other hand, it makes specifying various levels of currency much simpler if you *don't* have to type out the exact name for all of them, so I'm a bit on the fence about that behavior.

Fortunately, Sayya, a lot of these problems can be avoided, since Saintly Chainmail and Sai are two different classes.

BaseType Sai
Class Dagger

And you would rarely want to include those two items in a block together. It bugs me though, as you know I've ran into the Maple round shield thing myself.

Yeah that's what I meant with inconsistency, I don't really care which way the quotes work but it should be consistent throughout the script and I think having to use classes shouldn't be the solution.

"<itemname>" should be exact match while <itemname> alone should cover everything as it does in a lot of languages.

Hell is empty and all the devils are here.
What is the difference between:

Class "Fishing Rod"

and

Class Fishing Rod

?
I'm in an abusive relationship with life. It keeps beating the hell out of me and I'm too cowardly to leave it.
