More backstory on Piety please

I may be missing something, but it seems like there isn't a whole lot of explanation as to who Piety is besides some things I won't go into to avoid spoilers. I think I read somewhere that Acts 1 and 2 are being retconned, if this is the case I hope that more conversations with NPC's on Piety is one of them. I'm enjoying the lore and would love to see it fleshed out.

Would also like more back story on her. Also the world in general.
Its probably been said, but the way diablo 3 did it with journal entries (sorry to mention the game that must not be spoken of) was one thing they did do right with that game. Perhaps you could have Piety's journal entries dropped in different places as the game progresses through act 2 / 3 with voice acting. Love the game, would just like to know more about the world it takes place in and the people who play major roles.

More lore in general would be awesome. It's an epic world, but I feel we don't get a lot of knowledge about it through the game. Now that "lack of knowledge" is done in a way that makes sense, as a person randomly exiled to this god-awful place probably wouldn't know much about it or its history, but I'm sure they'd pick up some knowledge.
So yeah, I'd like to see more about piety, more about dominus, oriath, the vaal, everything, etc.
Grant us eyes.
More things like the diary in the prison in act 1 would be welcome.
Would be nice with cutscenes between Acts, (Still-images with voice-acting/music and subtitles Work), giving more backstory to the characters and the world in general would be welcome.

Remember guys, Blizz had much more dough to throw around with their title. And they still managed to mess it up. The plot of D3 doesn't really stand up to the PoE one. All of the things you mention sound nice and could be implemented sparingly in one of the future acts; let's say, in the future Act 4. Once done with the original 3 acts, you enter Act 4 and are presented with some slight twist and a hefty chunk of lore. Maybe in the form of a cutscene or two.
For my part, I've greatly enjoyed the story as is. It fits the setting quite nicely, is sufficiently disturbing and is acted out really well. The V/Os were top-notch and the music is simply amazing.
+infinity for more lore.

Exactly! It wouldn't even need voice acting necessarily, although narration would be cool. Just being able to read about it would be fine.

Agreed, she's ridiculously enigmatic. I was always expecting a reveal later on, but all I got was "she's evil".
