Hey welcome to POE,
Here is a rough statistics since you are new. Exalt-1/250 hour I would say. 6 link-1/1300 fusings on average. Take note that a lot of players still opt for 1500 fusings Vorici crafting as some unlucky ones can hit 5000 fusings. Chance of a raw 6L drop? 1/2000 hours. I was lucky to get one though. |

i got my exalt drop within 40 hrs +-.... so now, next 300 hrs nothing ? uuuuuuu

" I haven't kept track of all my Ex drops, but somewhere between 20 and 30, which is higher than the norm. The real money comes from trading (especially item flipping) or selling services (boss kills, master crafting). Master recipes help too, especially Elreon's Alt --> Jeweller's conversion, Vorici's Jeweller's --> Fuse, and even Cat's Chance --> Scour. just to add my drop"luck" to the table: 350 hours playtime and got one 5L-chest and zero ex orbs, so far.

crafting a 5link with master is dumpest thing you can do, 6S it and then link, higher chance AND chance of 6link.
Or you buy for few C a 5link :P ut 5linking items is an average of 30-50Fuses for me so no deal to master, master has always a lower chance per fuse, so if the chance is 1:100 you need an averga eof 100Fuses for 5link master cost you 150. But like its always is, you dont have infinity Fuses so 1:100 can mean 1 or 10000000 Fuses (which is still unlikely) |

i have found one in ~3500 hours, never seen one from dropboxes, i have linked 4 with fuses

I would be very careful with master crafting, however, it seems that 4L/4S is best done via Vorici. Pushing for 5L and 6L is subject to endless debate.
I personally favor Vorici but I only use his services for rare drops--I dont do white item socketing/linking and later crafting. I got my chest, which was good enough for me to try to socket it and link it. After wasting over 450 jewelers to get it to 6S, I decided to go for sure shot with Vorici's 5L for 150 fusings--mind you it is expected to get 6S way below 450 jewelers. |

fell about a month ago in a shipyard; white. this is the second time a 6L has dropped. 4K plus hours for second time and was a noob in plateau at about 1K hours when first fell and sold it at ilvl 76 for 22 exalted back then... crazy. bought a top roll Lionseye Glare 5L for 12 ex :p POE is life. POE is ♥.
