5L, 6L drop.... true or myth ?

Dude I'm more confused after reading Mark's post. Why does his statement imply it's a higher chance?

Dropped 2 EX, a few 5L's and 1 6L Chest in the recent 1 month league but that was pretty lucky! I have never seen a 6L drop before and I've played quite some time. So it is possible but dont expect it to happen very soon.
In terms of master crafting I share the opinions of the others here: If you do not like to gamble go for it, doing it yourself you sometimes need less and sometimes more (what then will be frustrating of course) so this is all about personal preference.

Because the algorythm will start at socket 1, check if it rolls a 6L, if not, check if it rolls a 5L, if not check if it rolls 4 then 3 then 2 then 1, then none. If you get to none, it will go on socket 2 where you will have a second chance to roll 5.

6L 1/1200
5L 1/100
4L 1/15 (guess)
3L 1/5 (guess)
2L 1/2 (guess)
0L rest -> and then the 2. socket has to roll 5L

well i bought already 3x 5L chests ,and 1x 5L staff, each piece for 8-15c :
(scion, mara, ranger(later), mara staff).

Now i have seen, some people , do +20% q before doing every attempt for 6L.

How this impact the result ?

I don't know the exact chances, but 5L drops are not that uncommon once you get to higher level maps. 6L drops, on the other hand... Let's just say that in over 2000 hours of gameplay, I've only come across one dropped 6L item. And it was common (white).
