The Awakening Update: New Skills

Nice, it looks like the Chaos Golem will be able to replace Enduring Cry in a CwDT setup! I'm also liking the flavor of Fortify and Bloodlust. As it stands, I'm not a fan of Warcries (more manual cast skills when we have so few ability slots? shared cooldowns?), but maybe my view will change when I'm better acquainted with the expansion.

Looking forward to try these.

Thinking tho, the warcries could be in a somewhat more innovative spot; since these are based on ammount of mobs rallying you, the affter-efects of such, could be exploited (not just the conventional flat damage source/survivability upon cast before pack, or after pack is killed -in line with the Golems, where the synergy within their element is complex and creative).

Remaining like this, Bloodlust won't be usable with those Projectile Attacks, just Melee Attacks.

I like Bloodlust. Having conditional effects based on buffs should add more dynamism to combat. Making those conditional effects accessible is something new for POE (previously only uniques had this kind of effect so not many people could really access this kind of playstyle).
my first hint without even having beta access: There is is a typo in the skill description of flame golem ("goelms")

The melee love is real, all new base weapons and now these nice skills, I might even give it a try in act 4 :D
Also looking forward using a golem as a solo player, I'll feel less lonely !
6 man party with a golem each seems a bad idea though ;)

Am I the only one who is concerned that 3% phys mitigation from the chaos goelm seems really...trash?

I hope to heaven and earth that that scales with level, cause it just does not compare to 15% inc damage and 20% acc+Crit chance.

that said...LOVING THW GLOBAL CRIT! We're seeing specialised crit get gutted and global crit being introduced in it's place - can we run crit maces yet?
