In one of the videos I saw, Chris said that the jewels can be freely removed/swapped "in most circumstances" or something like that. I'm pretty sure this would be the exception. Just like you can't use a regret on a node that would leave you with disconnected points now, I'm assuming you would not be able to remove this jewel if you have any nodes allocated that are supported only by the jewel.

If you look at the ones along the "arms" coming out from Scion - you waste no point pathing to that if you go through there as a lot of builds do and you basically can pick up some notables for free. Those inefficient life nodes? You can skip straight to the notable for efficient life.

So, in the end - the gem is probably on par with a rare gem at best and worse than a blue at worst.

boems right, its not all its hyped up to be. In a very rare situation it will actually be useful from waht ive seen, might save you 1 or perhaps 2 passives at most.

In some of the reviews they said you could possibly get moral conviction or infused shield etc, theres a tree on reddit with the gem radius things drawn on, you cant get those nodes or anything worth talking about, just some notables, a lot of which you want the run up nodes anyway.

Can't wait to see what vaal orbs does to these puppies.

I completely agree. Most likely the nodes for those gems will placed in such way that with this thing and its medium radius, you can't really get anything too powerful, most likely only skip some bad couple % dmg nodes to get the last notable etc, not some blatantly OP nodes that usually take a huge investment to get to.

Bah. What a hype killer, if you can't actually proceed from the intuitive leap nodes. So much for getting phase acrobatics without the utterly absurd penalty of regular acrobatics.

Not sure how 'ridiculously awesome' it really is when your skill tree gets an overall nerf. It takes more points to travel, and Intuitive Leap just makes it like it was before...which means now you NEED this unique jewel just to obtain the same status as pre-2.0.

with small radius this gem is completly useles((((
