Question about Intuitive Leap
" And again, unless they were completely clueless about what they were doing when they designed the new tree, THAT won't be possible. They decided where the sockets would be and how large a radius each gem would have. There's almost no way they would have NOT considered all of the keystones when doing so. |

Well problem is on one of the many teaser websites where intuitive leap is discussed they did mention about being able to get mortal conviction without blood magic.
It is just a matter of time before they introduce some negative effect on top of intuitive leap. After all, none of these unique jewels revealed so far has negative effects. This suggests that they are probably just not added yet. |

This jewel is not as strong as some of you are making it out to be.

Here's a good example of where it could be useful:
Some graphic shows a jewel slot in the shadow section between the life and mana leech clusters. You could socket intuitive leap and get both of these nodes without having to travel to get them (only having to travel to get the jewel socket). Theorycrafter/Build Creator for PORTAL guild

![]() You can take an amazing amount of 4 notables without pathing to them, OpieOP GGG pls nerf. |

"this is why there is a beta and not just a release so we can find the game breaking stuff and fix it without having everyone cry about it getting a nerf |

it is almost guaranteed that at some point there will be a way to increase the 'radius' of a gem. that would put even more passives into 'free' territory
this is a very risky design - most notables/keystones are balanced via 'cost' one has to pay taking garbage nodes (14% armor? 6%phys2%aspd?). without this cost some parts of the tree (like that templar one) will be pretty simple: have this jewel? you take this. dont have one? sad face.. blue gems are like charms, rare ones are like charms on steroids but unique ones are just.. dangeerous btw - interesting totem keystone placement. so now there is nothing at all in the bottom/left part of the passive tree?.. |

" If you want to know why i mentioned this, all you had to do is ask. Simply put, notables discussed here like that marauder portion have a beneficial travel cost. You travel to the jewel node, this requires 2 extra points invested to socket this jewel, after that you still need the points to select the notables you desire. If we take this marauder example, you take the 8%life +1%max fire resistance and +8 fire resistance node and then you take the armor/flask recovery and 6%hp node. Now take a look at the filler nodes that you skipped to do this. 4%life/3%resistances 4%life and 6% armor Both are nodes you don't even desire to skip since they add beneficial life%, more so you used 2 points to travel to this jewel socket node. End result is, you saved yourself exactly 1 skill point and lose out on 8% life/3%resistances and 6% armor for doing so. So in short, you guys are making intuitive leap sound like it is OP/insanely strong while in reality most filler nodes to keystones still add beneficial modifiers to a build that cannot easily be dismissed in a build. The only real advantage this jewel will offer is slotting it in an "end" of your passive tree location to grab a few more extra overall modifiers. The "converts weapon modifiers to bow modifiers" is by far superior to this jewel in my opinion. Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

" In one of the interviews Jonathan said that some in the team think that it's OP and that it might get changed: http://paulsemel.com/exclusive-interview-path-of-exile-the-awakening-technical-director-jonathan-rogers/ |
