Question about Intuitive Leap
The jewel allows you to allocate passives within its radius that are not linked to the rest of your tree, but once you have allocated them, can you then allocate other nodes that are linked to THOSE nodes but outside of the circle?

It seems doubtful, unless they connect all the way back to your starting location.

No you cannot.

Dont remember where I saw it, but no, you cant.
Also, people seem to be under the impression that you can put a gem anywhere; WRONG, you can only put it in 1 socket node, which you must first pick, also it has medium reach (which may or may not vary, nenver know with uniques) Intuitive leap will allow you to save a few points, not a whole travel. Oblivious

I don't really like the new passive gem system. I'm afraid its going to screw with the balance way to much.

Nope, I specifically asked Chris that. You can't.

" Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. It'll definitely still be extremely powerful as it is, but not completely gamebreaking. |

Yep.
I'm also sure that GGG will be careful enough with their jewel socket placement to make sure you can't use it to take insanely powerful notables like I alluded to in my article. |

I really think intuitive leap is just waiting to get nerfed.
If we can get mortal conviction without taking blood magic, then who on Earth would still take blood magic anymore? Are we not back to the age where blood magic is useless and low life aura builds are the way to go once again? |

What about the selection of Intuitive Leap itself? You have to select the node with the gem for it to be "active", but is it self-sustaining or do you have to have a path to the gem maintained? Because if you can select it then cut off all ties to it and just have it let you use nodes on the opposite side of the tree as anything you've selected....
