Kripp's motto : Live To Play -- Play To Get Paid -- As Much As Possible (Paid) -- As Popular As Possible

PoE is not so popular, and most streamers don't get too many views. It is all business, and saying silly shit like this just makes me laugh.
Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.
Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge.

That Kripp died like a year ago.

Pretty much, HS is an evil game kids, it turns people to filthy casuals.

Only hope right now is HvC!

I would like too him back, but i'm guessing that he won't be playing more than 1 month, but who knows..

My knowledge of PoE and it's mechanics comes 85% from Kripp & his videos, rest is from my own mistakes and rerolls.

I think the biggest problem with his comeback is the fact that everybody expects him doing some amazing and gamebreaking, but almost everything OP has been allready done(?).
d:-D*
Wohooo so much hate on Kripp. Also so much hate on Hearthstone.

He plays whatever he wants, whenever he wants. Once you get this, everything suddenly will become more clear.

Personally I never expected him to stream POE for 3 years. I don't expect any streamer to stream the same game for 3 years.
Nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.

People hate him because he played/stream before most of these guys even heard about PoE. They are accustomed to newer streamers like ziggyD and some others who these newcomers likes to compare to kripp which is the "old school" from the beta days...

Kripp came up with some of the most popular builds, kripp actually pointed out (many times with mathmatical prove) why physical damage in PoE is subpar compare to elemental. This is why GGG nerfed the crap out of elemental damage scaling (as well as one of the most notorious spec "DW Elemental Cleave") and made physical damage better and better... today physical damage is so good you can spec full physical damage and deal more elemental damage than a full blown elemental damage build due to superior scaling with Hatred, HoA, Added Fire and the latest physical to lightning.

These people had no idea at one point there were virtually no competitive physical builds, what changed this partly we will have to thank to Kripp repeatedly making videos making fun of physical damage vs AR calculation. A lot of oldschoolers knew Kripp also helped in shaping what PoE is today...

But you cant really blame all these newbie players that dont like him. All they know about Kripp is kripp is cocky and used to play poe and is now a blizzard sell out because they just hate everything thats blizzard due to the typical fanboism. Kripp was the most "informative" and HC streamer in poe... which unfortunately is still unparalleled by any of the newcomer streamers.
The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change.

Welcome to PoE.
i dont get why people are talking down on hearth stone . I mean come on, hearth stone is pretty much everything kripp likes distilled in a game.

he is a huge theory crafter and HS is a bloody card game. i could end my post right there and that is all anyone would need to say on this topic

But i think the larger draw for HS to kripp is pvp, you play people .. and not necessarily binary and predictable computers.

Its the same concept that keeps anyone coming back to competitive multi-player games... people = content.

gotta say i do miss his after stream videos

Even back in the day he would get 15k viewer POE streams. It's not like his regular HS 20k viewers blows POE out of the water. A lot of his fans follow him wherever he goes, not to mention an extra few thousand new viewers who tune in just because they see PoE on the front page of Twitch and say "wtf is this game, let me check it out."

However, Kripp plays what he wants to and from what I saw the last few times he tried playing PoE, it's pretty obvious he is completely burned out of PoE. I mean, you've never had an old game you went back to where you were like "damn this game is so good, but I put so many hours into this game, I feel like I've already done everything. Why would I play this instead of another refreshing game."

Whether we like it or not, Hearthstone and the new D3 ladder are his "refreshing games." There's a possibility he will look into PoE if Act 4 content is massive and extremely impressive, but I think it would take a lot to get him back into PoE. No matter how many veiwers want him to play PoE, he wouldn't settle playing a game he doesn't find fun when he can just continue making $$$ streaming HS and D3, games that he does find fun.

No no he didnt. Not even close. Kripp got between 2 and 5k viewers on poE regularly. I was a fan. He wasnt afraid to try new stuff. You cant make a living off PoE currently. Casuals and Call of Duty crowd have no interest in a difficult game like POE.

League of Legends is a more difficult game than PoE which is a consequence of its pvp balancing and massive amount of people being in the matchmaking system.

League of Legends requires far more brain power than PoE does to become great.

You could say the same about Dota or CS:GO

I have too little knowledge of those scenes. So I just comment about what I know: League and PoE in this case XD.
