Call Kripparrian to Come Back to PoE When the Act IV Expansion Get Released

Are there any other poe streamers out there that come up with new strong endgame builds frequently like kripp did? That was the most interesting thing he did imo.

Yup he was the best when it comes down to that. But everything is in the "was".

isn't that the same guy who gets nabbed regularly from games for exploiting?

what's wrong with that if you do it officially, don't try to hack the client or bring down the game by crashing instances.
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
Even back in the day he would get 15k viewer POE streams. It's not like his regular HS 20k viewers blows POE out of the water. A lot of his fans follow him wherever he goes, not to mention an extra few thousand new viewers who tune in just because they see PoE on the front page of Twitch and say "wtf is this game, let me check it out."

However, Kripp plays what he wants to and from what I saw the last few times he tried playing PoE, it's pretty obvious he is completely burned out of PoE. I mean, you've never had an old game you went back to where you were like "damn this game is so good, but I put so many hours into this game, I feel like I've already done everything. Why would I play this instead of another refreshing game."

Whether we like it or not, Hearthstone and the new D3 ladder are his "refreshing games." There's a possibility he will look into PoE if Act 4 content is massive and extremely impressive, but I think it would take a lot to get him back into PoE. No matter how many veiwers want him to play PoE, he wouldn't settle playing a game he doesn't find fun when he can just continue making $$$ streaming HS and D3, games that he does find fun.

Basically from his perspective, he can either

1. Pull less viewers and make less $$$ playing a game he's perpetually burnt out from and doesn't find that fun (PoE).

2. Continue pulling large viewer numbers, making the big $$$, and playing a game he finds fun. (D3 and HS).

3. Play other new games, where both view numbers and amount of fun is unknown.

Pretty sure every rational person including him are just going to pick #2 almost every time until he doesn't find D3 and HS fun anymore or something extremely interesting piques his interest. Idk if Act 4 is enough to overcome his previous thoughts on the game.

Back then PoE was a regular on the top 10 most played on Steam so it makes sense he would pull 15k. The game isn't that now. It's healthy though numbers so no biggie.

For me, games are a lot more fun if I give no cares about the business end - seeing how I have nothing to financially profit from.
The greatest streamer to have ever graced POE.

Reep in peace, sweet king of HC.

"Hearthstone and D3 having more replay value than PoE"

That's is gr8 laff

He's being paid huge money by blizzard to keep their shitty iphone game at #1 on twitch.

Hearthstone does have more replay value than PoE by the nature of being a gigantic pvp game, in which there is a "all equal ground mode" through the "arena".

PoE is an Action RPG though, something that Hearthstone isn't.

I expect him to check out a4 when it launches. A couple days maybe, one char until it dies.

If I were Blizzard I'd pay him to play POE in such a way that it turned off casual players, making spreadsheets, spending hours trading, do things that are prone to desync, etc. Then he could switch back to smooth and simple d3 and reassure everyone that there is no need to ever step away from Blizzard's soft, pastel, big shouldered embrace.
When I kill a man he stays dead.
