Yeah the community has really went to shit since the days of early OB. A lot of people with just tell you to fuck off and google it.

They probably did exactly the same when they started playing.

The community back in anarchy was fucking toxic in global as well.

make sure you join global 2 when you enter the game.

just type /global 2
we'll take care of you

Joining global 2 to get verbally raped by spamming a-hats from BASED in softcore challenge leagues? Or global 2 in Standard that is the exact same garbage as global 1? (no idea about hardcore)
news flash, some human beings suck.

15 minutes game time and PoE has already taught you one of the most fundamental lessons of life on planet earth, cant argue with that tbh.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

Wise words. Now you need only get scammed to learn another valuable lesson to apply to life..

Assuming from your name you are female, you should apply that to your in game name- you will be rich in no time in this game...

I recommend join a guild and use your 'guild chat' instead of global.

goodluck!

People really want to think PoE is OK, when being voted to have one of the WORST communities in online gaming ?

I think it is mostly enforced by GGG's economy segregation of players, but hey it's only my opinion.

Horses also see only streight lines as waggoner wants them to.

This game has a horrible community.
Within my first 15 mins ingame by just saying Hello I get responses from elitist jerks.

No thanks.

Imagine standing in a big city and just shouting "hello" without directly addressing to a specific person, how do you expect people to react?

What happened to online communities? No one has any skin anymore.

Anyone who uses the word "toxic" should be beaten. If you go to global and say hi and some meanie bullies you, and then you quit the game. Maybe you have bigger problems?

If you cant handle the banter on online games maybe you should go play skyrim, I'm sure the npc's will be nice to you :^)'

An example is in HC, if you ask how much an item is you will always have people say "20c". This is because global is always flooded with morons asking how much their shitty item is, after you get the response 20c a couple times you stop bothering with PC's in global, and you just use xyz like everyone else. If you cant handle something like this then i honestly don't know, global chat is not your hugbox on tumblr or reddit.

Was better because all had the crush on this new mysterious cute girl. When you are in love, you initially see past all flaws.
