What Static strike brings? Nothing
It doesnt fix shock nova and it makes Reave crappier

I like Static Strike. It doesn't have the stupid restriction Reave has (seriously, Reave can't be used with either of the weapons with Reaver in the their names), is elemental, and a radial AoE rather than the annoying randomness of Molten Strike. It's a fun power, and I doubt I'd be playing a melee if it didn't exist.

Of course, its existence doesn't excuse their failure to fix Shock Nova.
