Good/Bad News for yall!!

Agreed on the devolution of Diablo and Blizzard. A long time ago, Blizz had strong values and a business philosophy that combined high quality games with challenging content and awesome lore. But they decided to pursue max profit in exchange for quality and integrity.
It makes me cry to see them them throw all the heroes and lore from previous Blizz titles in one basket and make a trendy freemium moba with their new Heroes of the Storm to get dem dollarz from kids and casuals. However, I don't see how that compares to the current status of PoE and GGG. |

TC do what I did and start playing D3 again for awhile. RoS, who would have fucking guessed they'd actually pull off a self found loot system? It works, its great. No more scouring the AH, or the internet, or trading with assholes trying to scam/lowball me on everything.
I quit the game after all the nerfs in the update that included Scion and Dominus. I might come back eventually, but it sucks major ass to start over in PoE with nothing. And that is as big of a deterrent for me coming back as anything else. I've already done the "Start PoE over" grind too many fucking times already. I guess I'm in the minority because I'm someone who'd prefer a permanent league that doesn't have a completely broken economy. Legacy items are a complete deal breaker for me in standard. So I'm sorta caught in limbo here not sure if I'll come back eventually or just move on and forget about the game. That all depends on what GGG does with the game. " Nerf legacy items to top rolls for the nerfed mods. Its not hard to understand that a loot game that has uber items that no longer drop, the entire economy is going to be centered around items that no longer drop. Legacy items have been terrible for the economy in any game they've existed in. New players starting the game will never, and I repeat never be able to find any drops or accumulate enough currency to buy these items, because nothing of comparative value even drops anymore. Torment was almost the same as Ambush (which was the single best addition to the game... ever), and screw it like this... seriously, how?! :| The sole fact that it is not solved yet, even tho EVERYONE is talking about it (even on podcasts that Chris was part of), and there was passive feedback and suggestions on how to solve it, it still remains buggy, boring and broken. Game performance not even being talked about, trade improvements being forgotten forever... the list goes on. Even tho I love PoE for its ideas, I can't even argue against stupid decisions being made. Because, seriously, how can you talk about so much about economy, economy balance, and changes that are aimed to economy AND DON'T HAVE A PROPER TRADING, IN-GAME SYSTEM?!. (Legacy items aside, because one might say that this is matter of an opinion... herp) How can you talk about 0,5 second deaths and "adrenaline rushes" when you DON'T HAVE A PROPERLY WORKING GAME, WHICH DOESN'T HANG EVERY TIME YOU OPEN A GOD DAMN STRONGBOX. I honestly really HOPE that GGG finally wakes up from the coma they are in now. Act 4 will change literally nothing, if all these problems remain in the game. I consider myself a "fanboy" and I'm really biased towards PoE, because I see how my friends who play other games with me, see PoE as a frustrating, laggy, terribly optimized mess, that some of them can't even play properly, because they don't own hyper gaming machines (that can hardly go around 50 FPS anyways, because of how broken PoE engine is). Heck, I got new PC not so long ago, and I can barely play it, when there is some stupid burning ground, or something like that. And how do you explain to people who are starting to play, that they are supposed to trade with freakin 3rd part program, that posts stuff on game forums... and at the same time, you have to underline the fact that game is FOCUSED on trade. HOW, without laughing, can you possibly do this? /vent Sry for long post and vent, but seriously, this is way too long now. PS. To all these people who have that urge to write that "it doesn't matter if SC quits, because he is only a forum troll". You know nothing kind Sirs. You might not be agreeing with SC (as I have in the past), but denying that he is influential to the community is simply being ignorant. If there is anyone who does not matter, it might be you, or me. So, if you don't have anything to say in the matter that is being discussed, just shut your *beeep* mouth. Thank you.
