I would do it like that with legacy items: Change stats of current legacy items to the post-patch max roll +1. e.g.: legacy Kaoms would give +501 to max life. legacy Shavs would have 201% incr ES and +41 to lightning res. Just that little thing might help to not get all too butthurt as a legacy owner. You can still see it is/was a legacy item, but it's not op any more. with one I can agree that this game becoming to easy, PVP in simple way discover secrets of the game so hard designed, It should be permadeath ! Not for dumb clickers.
