I am sick of spending hours trying to trade for upgrades

Can we get some sort of solution that doesn't consume time? Hint.

I shouldn't have to spent 30-60+ minutes trying to find a quest gem for 1 alch, only to be spammed by people wanting 2-3 chaos for theirs.

you coulda got one with a witch as a quest quicker. it's an act 1 reward.

who the fuck pays for that shit? it takes 15 minutes to get to brutus with twink gear.

Edit:

wow, you get a flipping freezing pulse for killing hillock. yep, the second you enter a town with a witch you get freezing pulse.

slap yourself a few times k.

Yeah, Hillock Quest reward for Witch. Takes a minute or two.

EDIT For Shadow too, same quest. See Quest Reward List here.

Trading taking time is desired.
Automated trading does really bad things to an ARPG.

add auction house

I'm trying to buy axes 47 hours now I'm using forum and game chat no luck

add auction house
But with auction house I can't extort newbies and lazy people for overpriced crap.

Say no to auction houses ( although, they would be good in some aspects).

no to AH plz just no dont ruin our game.

How would it ruin the game?

Why should someone spend absurd amounts of time trading in a forum or in a chat system when mechanics like auction houses exist.

This game is not diablo 2 10+ years old, it is a modern f2p game. Trading may not be a problem for some now, but over time it will get more tedious and more annoying and downright frustrating to the play experience, this will not get many people using the cash shop to support the game if it is frustrating to them.

Upgrades are very very RNG to find. Which again raises questions of frustration of do you want to farm for possibly hours for an upgrade?

Trading for an upgrade also takes hours of time because you need to find an upgrade with the specific level and stats and possible sockets that you want, and then negotiate with the seller a price.

Firstly, the seller always wants maximum and rarely wants to negotiate. They will also always overprice their item (I'm selling chain for 4 gcp pst).

A Player run economy without boundaries or mechanics simply doesn't work, which leaves "buyers" of items frustrated and ultimately quit playing.

It is already showing that people are sick of staring at trade full of trolls and garbage, and also searching many "forum shops" wasting time trying to find rares they would need.

Ultimately I think the old classic d2 style trading is retarded, it was retarded then and it still is retarded now. There's a reason the Auction House Mechanic was created.

I'm not saying an Auction House is the "done done" solution, I'm opening a discussion about the problem and how it could be remedied better.
