Your logic knows no bounds

He feels inferior because he thinks tornado shot destroys everything therefor to not feel inferior he must play TS

Use your brain.

EEEE NO BOUNDSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I use TS too. and with 83% crit chance i 1-shot everything on 72-73 maps, while my bow has only 150 dps(with 9,25 crit). I would like to know, how it will be nerfed in next patc? to be ready for that. GGG please warn us BEFORE nerfing it.
P.S. Everybody forgot about drillneck?

how do you get 83% crit?? I have like 50% chance. still "feels" pretty good though

What I got from this thread is that EK could use a buff.

thank you, yes, this is what I am going for. Not a nerf for TS but a buff for other stuff.

Maybe your EK build was just bad?

maybe.

I have 3500 life, 1100 mana unreserved (MoM, CoD). Level 21EK gem level 21 hatred gem.

30K dps

clear speed ok, but tornado shot is just fucking retardedly OP
anyways, maybe you think my level 93 witch EK build is pure shit, but then how was I able to basically do NOTHING in a new league and build something better in like 2 weeks? You just grab the fucking bow nodes around ranger and ta-da, you got a fucking ez ass build that a retard could come up with.
Like i said, I crafted an "end game" bow very early on EASILY with virtually no currency.

Tornado shot is a "good" skill as it is right now, why is there a need to make a good skill bad? Instead ask for buffs for bad skills so maybe one day we got all skills equally "good" and more and more people going to use more different builds.

To slow down power creep, obviously. If a new skill is released that old ones can't compete with the better solution in the long run is to bring it down roughly to the level of others.

See what happens:

"Tornado shot awesome"
-> make other bow skills awesome
-> monsters die too easy
-> raise monster health
-> melee and spells are a joke
-> buff everything
-> reflect becomes too dangerous
-> nerf reflect again
...

This man understands. Some of you other guys just don't get how destructive it is to just arbitrarily start raising power. Without RESTRICTIONS, strategy games are no longer strategy games, they are just Michael Bay sandboxes for epeens.

Tornado Shot got an indirect nerf in patch 1.3 with the hybrid mods being removed from the master crafting table, which makes it harder to craft GG crit bows. In the previous league, GG crit bows raining left and right which was messing up the balance of the game. Hell, Puncture fell victim to very strong abuse in mechanics (chin sol crit trappers being a big one).

Tornado Shot is a victim because of the almighty crit chance + crit damage system.

This is the only bow build I use with TS, and I never wanted to go the pure crit route because I know how deadly TS will be because of "crit." I still do a decent amount of damage against bosses, but it takes some time to kill one. GG crit bows can cut that time by like 80%. Nerfing TS because it is getting abused by crit builds will make those in middle ground suffer a lot. GG crit bows will still be GG because they are GG for a reason. Reflect may be an issue, but that is because the amount of damage one is doing exceeds the the amount of life you get back via LoH and/or life leech.

I do say TS makes me more tanking in the LoH department compare to Split Arrow, but Split Arrow still does a decent job.

I still think crit is the culprit in all of this TS drama. Try TS for once without crit and/or mirror bows. Your perspective should slightly change.
Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

The basic problem is that the best way to destroy your enemies in this game as an archer/wandslinger is 'more dakka' (i.e. a larger number of projectiles fired per second), and Tornado shot is naturally one of the most dakka skills out there. (Barrage and Split Arrow could be as well, but they're held back a bit by their poor synergy with LMP/GMP, as compared to the huge benefits that most arrow skills get from LMP/GMP.) The only competing philosophy is the 'one big hit' approach, which is usually based on damage over time, but the big slow hitters naturally struggle when they're trying to wipe out a swarm of soft targets.

QFT.
They won't nerf it until a micro-transaction is made for it while it is very powerful, which will sell a lot. then when sales die down they will nerf it into the ground.

That is the cycle here.
