Naming and shaming in game....

So i was reading a thread about global 820 and masters rotations the other day and something struck me as extremely wrong.
I snipped this from that thread because it points out that in game on global 820 people name and shame leechers, causing people to refuse to play with this person. This is a perfect example of why we have a naming and shaming policy to begin with. [

So basically someone does something you dont like so you tell others who this person is and what they did and in turn this person is unable to play the game the way they would like to play it because of naming and shaming. I think people who name and shame in game should get the same treatment as they would on the forums and that would mean they would be [Removed By Support]. and

If this is the case and that this type of behavior is allowed to happen in game when it is strictly prohibited and religiously enforced on the forums, then what the fuck is the point in a no name and shame rule if it can be easily circumvented by naming and shaming in game, to the point that it causes a player to be alienated from group play? It doesnt matter what that player did because this is perfectly acceptable in GGGs eyes. It is those who are spreading word of leechers actually breaking the ToS.
At least in my understanding of the rule. A discussion of this subject would be great. Lets avoid derailing the thread and allowing it to devolve into ad hominem attacks and trolling. |

Nvm. Don't have the nerves to discuss this.
Tldr the leecher assholes are protected enough, too much i'd say. I'd make an exception and create a forum blacklist for those guys if it was up to me. But sadly my pitchfork rusts away.. |

And who's fault is it that the player is alienated from grouplay? Yep thats right him/herself. If he/she didnt leech off from rotation groups (people offering free masters is ok) then he/she wouldnt be excluded from master sharing. Sure there is no penalty for that behaviour and im not saying its okay to name and shame but they brought it among themselves.

" But this is exactly the reason why we have name and shame rules in the first place, It is not the leecher who is in the wrong, this is supposed to be a hardcore game in a cutthroat environment, it is encouraged by GGG to ripoff, scam, and generally be a shitty person. As such the leecher is the one playing the game as intended while all those people naming and shaming the leecher are in violation of the ToS.
