D2JSP illegally sells others' property for money. This is illegal. Especially in the case of any subscription-based or microtransaction-based system, this is directly harming the owners of that property, and thus they could be sued for damages.

D2JSP further incentivizes cheating play that frequently attempts to illegally damage the servers of the games they play on.

Don't forget that D2JSP stands for Diablo II JavaScript Player. They are cheaters and they are frequently dupers. Duping involves abusing the server. Intentionally attacking a server to get it to glitch and allow unintended output is a crime, not to mention eligible for civil lawsuits for the damages caused.

sadly its not that easy than u might think. D2JSP don't sell others property. its just a platform. do u have evidence that the owners of D2JSP is duping and cheating? its just some users of that site maybe. u'll need more than just speculation for a lawsuit if u dont want to lose a lot of time and money..
blizzard would have turn this site and others down long time ago if it would be that easy...

The site started out as a premium bot site For D2, although njaguar tries to hide that fact now.

Just as an interesting side note, members of D2JSP already have a bot for Hellgate Global running. Make of that what you will...

all true. we know that..
i'm not defending that site. i just say it's not that easy black and white.
u need more for a lawsuit or closing down sites than just speculation. u need prove that the owners of the site are involved in this practise directly. some members doin it is not enough..
just tell me why this site is still up when all is that obvious? why blizz didn't close it down?

I'm not a lawyer, so I can't comment on why it's not down.

It's also worth considering the fact that njaguar is facilitating this activity by letting it happen on his site. Whether that means anything to devs and/or lawyers I can't say, but the moderation on that website has always been awful.

It's also worth noting that I'm an active member of the site, not in the trading communities, but I do have over 20k posts there.

The site isn't the real problem though, clearly there's a demand for the kind of economy it facilitates, and devs should work to gain control of it as Blizzard have done with the RMAH.
No, the demand is for a gaming environment where we know that the people on top of the ladder, and the people we meet in-game, didn't bot or buy their items from a store.
NotSorry: Bot d3 for cash, play POE all day

CaptainBurns: The game is just a means by which to kill things.

Blizz is to lazy as long as they got steady income from kids that never demand anything and dont know how to make protest.

Well i am not spec of this type of sites ,but well its obvious when you enter it what for it was made ,unless you are blind and got IQ of dog.

The site maybe dont make the trade itself ,but it help other people do it.
If the trade is illegal ,the site help doing something that break law.
Helping in it is breaking law too ,so you just sue them for helping not doing it themself.

Also if the site dont have other real function than that ,they dont have any defence line.
Additionaly to that if the site admins didnt block illegal activity and still didnt close the site themself ,its even bigger proof that they are doing it at prupose.

njaguar's obfuscation of the facts may be sufficient to delude those who want to believe him any way, but would not stand up in a court of law.

You have to ask yourself why Blizzard haven't already done it though, don't you.

We know they're not afraid to throw their lawyers around, so why wouldn't they in this case, if they were so sure they'd be able to win?
Just account bind all Rare & Unique Items that have had a wisdom scroll used on them. And all crafted items as well.

Because as much as they like to think of themselves, they're just beneath Blizzard's level of caring. Though it may change if they do become the black market for D3.
