Sallazzang, Labyrinth Map Boss

did a Temple Map with about 40 lightning resistance, beat Piety, and was very confident.
so confident, I had to try the Labyrinth map she dropped. white one.

cleared it and entered the boss room.
Devourers. a ton of them. a bit scary but destroyed them all, no problem.

oh, boss is a Paradisae Venenum clone? no problem - I have Ondar's Guile + evasion.
nothing he does can hit me, right?

WRONG! *BOOM* one shot.
what was that? turbo GMP Ethereal Knives? oh god...

he then proceeded to one-shot me again. and again. and again, from off-screen.
enter, and instantly die.
until I ran out of portals and EXP to lose.

I'm not QQing as much as just asking: how to beat this guy?

Devouring totem to remove corpses.

So the boss only does his normal attack until he devours a corpse then he enters an "enrage" mode where he shoots rapid fire EK(also heals up a bit from devouring). They're all small rapid physical hits so there is a few ways to heavily mitigate it:

- Arctic armor.
- Decent armor
- cwdt + ec + IC setup(it's many rapid hits so you'll take very little damage).

A few ways to beat the boss include mitigating his damage through the method I shared, other ways include blowing up all the corpses with something like infernal blow/devouring totem or shattering them with cold damage. The boss also moves a lot so puncture characters will often kill in one hit.

Last way to go about the boss is using a purely single target skill(so no multistrike) which means he will never enter enrage mode due to no corpses.

ok, so taking out the Devourers and blue mobs was a mistake?
I only noticed him when he devoured a worm's corpse, so I guess it was too late.

character is a Frenzy + Barrage + Puncture archer, so tried to off-screen him with it - but didn't know where he was until he off-screened me from the opposite corner.

when "enraged" he's faster than the Jungle Valley spider, and I think his EK does more damage too.
that's F*ing scary.

Evasion pot , puncture him run away or just get 2 pots and kill him while in evasion ( 2 pots , 12 seconds eva )

My 100% foolproof strategy:
Do not set foot in Labyrinth.

Salazang is part chaos damage if i am not mistaken (like jungle valley)

How to beat him.

1) self cast immortal call upon enrage mode

2) chaos pot + granite

3) these are insane for chaos bosses and are severely underestimated by the community when facing them

Combined with a chaos potion, these trivialize any chaos boss fight.

Well, not sure if it'll help you.

But, Sal can be dragged away from his respawning Devourers, denying him infinite feed.

Let them spawn, run around, you'll eventually get a 1v1 with Sal.

The EK of sallaz is 100% physical, confirmed this with mark a while back.

What you do is face tank him while out leeching his damage and out damaging his regen.
