What trading in PoE is like

what i've experienced before:

1. wtb ur andvarius, i offer 2ex
[its a perfect andvarius and i closed the thread a long time a go no less]

1. wtb ur cherrubim's i offer 10 ex
2. mine has perfect chaos damage roll, 20ex
1. no man. get down to earth, i can buy 2 cherrubims 6L at that price on poexyz
2. ok fine 18 ex, do note those cherrubims u mentioned, theyre not perf chaos roll
1. what's the difference between 3-4% chaos damage?
2. well, you could go find the other sellers then

those are my experience as a seller. as a buyer most of the time i get this:

I only buy from ppl who list buyouts, and the transactions are usually very simple. When ppl lowball items I have listed, I often sell it unless its way too low, but I am usually willing to barter.

I've had trades in the past with ppl that do the whole "offer" thing. Those ppl get pissed at your offers no matter what you offer, but I just stop responding at that point. No need to deal with aholes.
