Yes, everything else got buffed. That is how it should be. Now all weapons will have a role on the game. I am pretty glad, also the rework on the tree is very nice. The only thing I miss is the loss of elemental adaptation and marauder +1 resistances, I don´t know if that is right or it is the wrong version .... we will see.

Staffs are kind of meh though.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

It's technically an overall buff early/mid game and may save you points late game.


It actually looks like it will be a buff in late game too unless you are running really high amounts of life on gear, like kaoms.
50% extra life from levels makes a lot of difference.
They inadvertently nerfed my puncture build :(

Less curse effect.
Less Damage over time nodes
Less total crit chance

on the upper side

Less reliance on life nodes
a few more bow nodes
More move speed

on the annoying side

Shadow is better off than Ranger for the build now... Won't be able to respec class...
So is "the right" version published yet ? The one Chris has sent ?

Yeah, and also don't forget that it will be easier to get +life on gear now too since you can use the master crafting to add it to any piece that's lacking it OR if you have a piece with good +life but lacking some other key mod, you can add that instead.



Certain trees got dumped on badly. They lost alot of life nodes that they used to have that helped big time. There's barely any life in the Ranger/Shadow trees if you didn't notice, and Bow Characters will struggle heavily if they don't go to the Scion Life Wheel.


I expect Life Witches to be pretty much dead btw with the changes to their tree also. Duelists, Maras, and Templars aren't affected too heavily by the life changes.
