I just wanted to say I agree with the basic sentiment put forth here about keeping the fight 1 on 1. It is quite atmospheric the way it is, and I do not think adding trash mobs is going to help that point.

Of course if you think adding them will make the fight more mechanically interesting and over all better then go ahead. But then you have to make sure it's really, really good.
I really hope we get some new end game content in 1.2.0. Running the same 2 78 maps gets boring quick. Sure, the journey to 78s is always fun, but once you get there, you want more...

Agree.
glad these new fights have more trash mobs to refill pots, it wasn't fair that Crit builds got free pot refills for attacking and not killing mobs.
Why do I have the feeling that this is what Char was so upset about?

Benefit of the doubt as always, but -1 to putting adds in every boss fight. The Brutus fight, as others have pointed out, is scary because it's just you and him, with no distractions. The game has enough boss fights where your attention is split between the boss and the trash. I can only hope for more one-on-one fights in the future.

Don't you mean way too easy? Adding mobs to any fight makes the fight easier, since you can refresh flask charges.

Or you can TP out. If Flask Charges is the best argument for adding more stuff to a fight, I wholeheartedly disagree.
