real story about RNG.

I played since open beta, i played hundred and hundred of hours... i only get decent droops with a dedicated mf build... i played more of 200 70+ maps withouth any good droop with a non mf char...

Around 20+ shitty low level uniques dropped, 66 and 67 maps dropped a lot of times in 72, 73 , 74, 75, 76 maps.... Is simply ridiculous. I have good gear and good builds but... yes... at last i have decided to left this motherfucker game. Perhaps i will play a couple of maps someday but yes... i HATE this game now. Is builded around vegas casino system and SUCKS.

Put 2 people with the same wisdom/skill level and whatever you can think of.

Give one bad rng and the other good rng and the outcome is clear.

Yeah, the people who constantly place good in races always get a good RNG? Really?

Get real.

You fail to understand my point, yet feel the need to post about it, cool stuff.

Let's imagine for a second we copy helman, just to serve as an example.

Now you let these two helmans do a 1hour fixed solo race.

One get's blessed with RNG, the other gets shit RNG.

Who do you think will win that race?

= my point.

Everybody in the top ladders know's that there place is dictated by

1) blue pack spawn-rate in there instances.

2) lucky drops to increase ratio from 2-hitting packs to 1-hitting packs.

3) move speed boots drop at early 5 min mark of a race.

4) double quicksilver flask drop.

Of course you can manipulate your result to perform consistent. Does not change the fact that if you put 2 top competitors next to one another and grand one luck while the other does not.

The lucky one will end up first.

Drop chances should be handled more like evasion. Entropy. At (the very) least in races. I don't mean that every xxxx mobs there should be a guaranteed exalt drop, but I'm pretty sure one could come up with some kind of compromise which is less las vegas.
The drop rate is one thing.

An other thing is the (forum) community. Every single idea that may improve the experience for more casual players, are being trashed almost before they are being written. It's even mora sad than the drop rate.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

Or just take out the antiquated RNG system?
Too logical?

Hahahahaahahaha joke of the month, buddy. The RNG is the only addicting element that keeps me playing this game. Too bad if you are unable to handle it.

Yes because the market is already full of games for you casuals. PoE is not for casuals nor will it ever be. Only more complexity will be added == good. Because of casuals Permanent allocation was added and I'm still pissed at GGG for that...

I have been playing for about one year. I took a break for Dark Souls 2, RoS, a little torchlight 2, that's about it. On poestats you can see that I play a lot, so just imagine around a year of that much playing. I have never found an eternal.

neither i :)

I've been playing since closed beta and found my first ever eternal this month in cruel a2 of all places. I don't trade and don't have a single exalt in invasion, don't know what to do with it.

On topic, I think it is sad GGG has made such a great game and people want it to be something else. The fun and challenge of POE is figuring out how to get by with what RNG gives you, good or bad. If you're the kind of person that can't be happy if you know something exists but you don't have it you're in the wrong place. What POE's extreme RNG does is that over time it rewards game knowledge and dedication more than anything else. It is fine to not want to dedicate tons of time to the game, but don't expect and handouts. If you have the attitude that "after x hours the game should have given me y item and it hasn't so something is wrong with it" then just uninstall POE and go download Progress Quest. POE is for people that think "I've played x hours and even without y item I've done this, this, and this!"

A lot of the unhappiness on this forum comes from people playing standard. The game experience is tuned to the temp leagues. It is very different to make a game like this with a four month time limit and no time limit. I was getting frustrated with this game too when I played standard. I recommend everyone that hasn't yet try hardcore in the upcoming one month.

Mad, that now you can't ninja stuff from others or what? Play solo/in your party eg. set your own rules and steal stuff happily.

And why exactly do you have a problem with this? The game should be dictated purely on your skill? RNG always was a part of (a)RPG-experience.
OP could you get your friend to link his items on forum.
