[1.2] Sidra's Guide: Acrobatics Based Physical Crit Split Arrow Ranger (Atziri Kill Video Inside)

3600 seems about right in terms of HP at level 66. 3k Evasion may be a little low so I'd look to increase that over the next few levels. But there are things you may be able to do that may help:

1) CWDT - Enduring Cry, Enfeeble, Immortal Call - any combo of these definitely helps

2) Manual Cast Defensive Curse

3) When you see those Roas coming at you, do you pop a Jade flask?

4) What Ranged Attack Totem are you using to divert attention?

Also - if you have 200 HP left, you aren't dead yet, and the entropy system means you won't get hit next - so you should still be able to Pot/Leech/LGOH back pretty quickly. I have 5600 HP, and seem to be under 1k more than I'd like - but the nice thing is that almost dead isn't dead.

Good luck.

Hi there,

nice guide. I recently respecced my wander to this build and it slowly building up to be pretty effective. However I am struggling with damage. My Split Arrow with pierce is only at 4,5k atm.

Here is my tree:

And here is my gear:

Defensively I have no issue, as you can see some of my gems are still not fully leveled but Im not sure it that would make alot of difference. Any advice? I use power charges because I took one in merciless so I have 5 in total.

Convert your faster attack to q20. You will get back the 44% bonus at lvl 9 or 10, ie. very quickly. You can also try to put pcoc your frenzy and use physical projectile attack damage or added fire damage in your SA setup. The damage increase will be very sensible but you'll lose some damage on frenzy of course.

About gear, your bow is near 300 dps so it's not the main problem. The jewelry lacks offensive mods however: flat physical damage, global crit chance or multiplier.

for the tree, you can get a 36% physical damage and 5% crit at the cost of 8% life and a 3% attack speed: tree. Not sure it will change much however.

When two witches watch two watches, which witch watches which watch?
If the witches watching watches watch the same watch while you watch which witch watches which watch, they switch watches; then, the watch switching witches watch which watch you watch.
Watching witches watch watches is not for the faint of heart...
I have a few questions about gear:

1.
I'm trying to decide between Snakebite and Maligaro's for my gloves. I use Blood Rage so generating Frenzy charges is not a problem.

2.
What are thoughts on Lioneye's Glare? Is it recommended or should I go buy/craft a bow?
Reflect is a bit of an issue when using an evasion/dodge build?

3.
If I do craft my own bow, what base should I use? Harbinger?

Thanks.

1. No idea, I use rare gloves for the resistances.

2. LG is a good bow for a crit build. The low crit chance is well compensated by the high attack speed.

3. An harbinger bow, definitely.

Flat Physical damage on gear is one of the best ways to scale damage because being on in essence the bottom damage rung, it gets multiplied by everything (attack speed, physical%, crit chance, crit multi). You don't have any on your rungs or Quiver, so I would look to see if you can add some.

I generally prefer a lower DPS bow with more crit for a crit build, but if you do use an LG for a while be sure to spec out of Acrobatics and into IR.

What's the thinking behind using a high crit/low DPS bow?

Also, what are you thoughts on Snakebite vs Maligaro's?
If you are building for a crit build, you get a solid amount of crit multi - which generally makes more crit chance outweigh more DPS. Obviously, it's within reason but I'd definitely take a little less bow DPS for more crit chance.

Mailgaros for sure.

Im still alil worried about mana issue's. Still can't 6L life on hit with +89mana on rings(no decent mana with other stat necks up). Still having to run a low lv clarity to keep mana up over grace, even on 4L frenzy.

But ya Crit bow(228pds/8.75cc) outweighs a higher (283pdps/5.0cc) bow. On tool tip and clear speed.
