First Invasion Atziri kills have occurred!

People have been buying/selling achievements ever since they were introduced to online games. This ain't on GGG. Should they personally monitor every atziri attempt on the leagues?

What's on GGG is the retarded fragment grind. Hard optional boss should be a skill check (and by necessity a gear check), not a test in patience.

Fix fucking fragment drop rates.

I am disappointed, people who bought the kill shouldn't get any recognition and be ingored when it comes to getting reward...
p.s I don't mind if player do nothin in Atziri fight (even if literaly just running around while some other kills her) as long he take part in it taking at least some risk of dying (wich isn't much of a problem in ambush but oh well )

I suggest to placate the braying QQing hordes is to make this exclusive microtransaction prize exclusive for a limited time, then sell it to the community for a reasonable price.

It isn't really GGG's fault. They could have made it a solo achievement, but that would have been even worse.

Sure the fight would have been impossible to sell, but then no one would want to play support builds. Why would you pick up aura nodes or build for group play if your main focus is to do a solo achievement? Doing the challenge this way would have split people up and caused community problems.

I mean it can get down right nasty... If someone on the ladder is trying to buy upgrades in order to kill Atziri, why would you want to help that player get the kill before you? Why would you want to stream the fight or give away info on the fight? Most people would rather hinder others instead of helping them if they are competing. It is sad to say, but that is just how people are.

The real people at fault are those who are greedy and sold the fight before the top 50 spots were claimed; mainly the first ones who started selling it. They are the ones initiated it all.

If you hear that there are 3 groups selling the fight and that one group on Ambush sold it to 19 people, you basically come to the conclusion that if you don't buy a spot ASAP it is gone for good. When you realize that 80% of the top 50 have paid for their kill, it is no longer a respectable challenge. It becomes a limited edition MTX that is purchasable.

Likewise, when you hear that other groups are selling the fight, why not take advantage and sell as many fights as you can? You pretty much realize that it is no longer a challenge but a profitable service.

With that said, I have no problem with how GGG handled the challenge. I do, however, have a problem with the fact that they congratulate and support a player(havoc) who is openly selling the challenge for in-game currency. It makes people think that GGG has no issue with the buying and selling of the challenge.

THAT is what I don't agree with.

Havoc may have done the challenge without dying, but he deserves no respect(both for his kill or hitting level 100 first).

GGG didn't care much about havoc messing up race for 100 on Nemesis ladder, why would they care about him selling Atziri kills left and right.

Seriously, for this competition wouldn't you design it so you have to be present in one of the Atziri rooms with living bosses in it in order to receive the Kill Achievement when the bosses are defeated? Then after the contest you'd make it like other bosses where you can just be on the same floor and not in the same room as the boss...

That way you actually have to place yourself at risk, even in a party, to win a position in the contest. You can still obviously wait until the boss is almost dead, but you're still taking a risk spawning in to the room with it alive even for a split second (Meaning it's still heaps better then current implementation).

Or in addition to the above, make it so you also have to eliminate x% amount of health from the boss to earn the achievement/be counted as completing the task.

This would greatly minimize the desire to be a free loader as there is still a good risk you'll R.I.P in the hardcore league while trying to accomplish what is required.

still he killed atziri. whether you like it or not is not the thing here. being the first to kill her in this league is a big achievement. after all this league is about corruption. be proud that he achieve it using his brain not just by pride.instead of QQ about selling kills. if you got the balls to kill Atziri in invasion then do it... kill Atziri first before you start bitching.
