When should I expect to loot a 6L?

I've never even seen a 5L 60+ armor drop.

Most builds work fine with 5L though, and if you really need 6 you have up 10-20 exalts (dom) or buy a 6s and lots of fusings.

"expect", "six" and "link" don't fit into the same sentence :D

I will likely be forever be content with 5L, if I dont happen to amass at least 4000 fusings. But looting a 6L that is an usable base item too? That would be aliens visiting earth tomorrow-level of probability ;)

OP, you should expect to loot a 6L, never.

But yeah, I've just been pretty lucky. I don't know any friend who has found any.

ive played everyday for a year straight, no looted 6l.

I had a 6L Tiger Sword drop after 300 hours, but I've had zero exalt drops. I ended up selling it for an eternal.

I found one in closed beta =(
I also managed to fuse one when I tried getting a 4-link+2-link on an extremely ordinary ilvl59 chest, dunno if I should consider myself lucky getting it or unlucky it wasn't on a better chest.
