is 33% crit chance ideal for coc? anything higher than 33 has diminishing results and its better to spent points elsewhere like hp or multiplier?

From where do you get that idea of a diminishing return? I would say 33% is really the min value for CoC but a much higher value is preferred. Just take a look at CoC dagger or wand builds, they go way over 50%.

i find myself crit-ing pretty often with 35% now. since my base crit is 5%, trying to increase my crit chance from those 15% nodes doesnt really add much. i think its better to spent my points on hp or multiplier which really improve my charc either on survival or dmg wise.
regardless u have 33 or 50%, u just crit. its the frequency on how often u crit. i have like 3.8 attk speed on my split arrow, its bound to proc a crit. Ign: Sharppppp

Well, with 50% you just crit about 50% more than with 35. However, I won't spend a point in a 15% crit chance node, I place my minimum at 20%.
And from my experience (lvl 88 frenzy/LA crit ranger), crit mul isn't really needed on the tree, you can find plenty with amulet, quiver, especially if in standard, and increase critical damage gem (it can be hard to find place for it in CoC setup however). The only crit mul nodes I would really recommend are Pressure Points, Assassination and Deadly Draw. So I recommend life if you already have these nodes. Ranger builds list: /917964

i have taken most of the important nodes including the 3 u recommend and just have some spare points to play around with. i put them on the 15% to test out but dont see much difference. yea, im going for life and its fun to play with life and regen :D currently have 4.7% regen and i can just face tank sceptre mobs when they gang me.

the 15% critchance points suck.....go for 20+ !!!
I would say 30-33 % critchance is the absolut minimum for CoC !! Ingame: maxboo

yea i have respec out of the 15 nodes to life.
i just found this during my dom runs. 6s it in 3 tries and 5l under 50 fusing. tested it in dom run and the slow attk speed really is too damm slow lol. it did proc ek often though, with like 59.6% crit chance but the thing is with lioneye 3.8attk speed, i find my lioneye kill faster than this.
