Not random. You have to find the balance between how much regen you want and how much life you are willing to run it on.

question, do i want a high dps low crit bow? (300+ dps, 5 crit) or a high crit low dps bow? (8+ crit, 200+ dps), or should i be looking at attack speed?

my current bow is

looking to upgrade to something better before i spend all my orbs trying to get 5L

That's personal preference. I find I get higher clear speed with a medium damage, high crit bow. If you're having mana issues, you might be happier with a high damage, low crit bow. Either way, you'd be better off grabbing Harbinger Bows off the ground and trying an Alchemy on them (or chancing Imperial Bows) instead of spending your orbs linking something mediocre.

I've always found I have better survivability with a good mix of Armour, Evasion, Life and ES vs. only stacking one. Evasion is really great with ES because your Energy Shield regens between hits.

Flame Totem is better to cast manually because you'd have to keep all the spells too low level with CwDT. CwDT is better for things like Enduring Cry, Immortal Call, Molten Shell, Summon Skeletons, Decoy, etc.

I use Arctic Armour but would not recommend it if you're already having mana issues.

Can someone clarify why Lioneye's works bad with Acrobatic? I've been looking around but not been able to find a solid answer.

Your hits cant be evaded means that: You hit your Enemy by 100% AND YOU cant evade your own reflect DMG also!

Also keep in mind that getting Ondars Guile doubles your chance to evade your own attacks since everything you use will be a projectile. You don't want to miss out on that by getting lioneyes.

I switched over to this build last night, currently level 77 and just need the upper part of the passive tree atm (a lot of crit nodes i think).

When i hover over my split arrow icon, it says my dps is 2k, which seems low. Can anyone enligthen me on how the dp's is calculated with this build? Because with RoA i get faaaar more.

Currently have a lioneyes glare, maligaro's belt and a rat nest. Rest of the gear is pretty decent too.

So yea, can someone enligthen me?

Also - Anyone looked into the new bow? The Windripper? Has 9-10% crit - wouldnt that bow be pretty beast for this?

So you need to be 85 to use CoC? I dont see how many of us can reach that level in Invasion

That bow is beast for CoC but not physical builds.

You would want a CoC build with Projectile and Elemental Damage nodes.

any surgeon mana flask (recharges 1 charge when you deal a crit) will fix all mana problems.

my SA cost 38 mana and i have 261 mana after i reserve grace. Ive never had a mana problem after i got a surgeon mana flask.

Because you crit so much, you will always have a full flask up. This will also allow you to be more flexible in gear and you dont NEED mana leech.

if you still want, you can use a blood magic gem linked to clarity to further improve your mana regen.
