" hell yeah :D i bet you do - i bet you one shot everything ??? i think you might swap those figures to soloing 48 zone @ 58 ? Not saying this build is bad bit will never believe in someone clearing zones 10 levels higher then him especial when he is melee. |

" i guess then you are now at act 3 ? 5 levels more must be past two acts at least btw - when you said solo 58 ZONES turns out you only did one as a side quest with limited number of monster and only one unique. that's hardly clearing ZONES Last edited by Golfik#7216 on Feb 10, 2013, 1:21:10 PM

Can someone explain the difference between going all-in with Axes vs. Swords?
Someone brought up that life on hit scales better with attack speed which makes perfect sense but how does that fair against the higher physical damage of axes in general? Looking at the swords that I can currently equip (the ones with a lower Dex requirement as I've gone pretty far into Str areas) the difference between the attack speeds is only 0.10. The one-handed swords that have higher attack speeds require straight Dex and a lot of it. Confused :O btw I'm currently level 46. |

" Difference between a sword and axe is: Swords - 0.05 to 0.1 attacks per sec and +18% accuracy increase, Axe - around 5-10 dps (not %) more in base physical stats and requires less dex. |

" Personally, I wouldn't specialize in any weapons for awhile. Just take the DW nodes, and use axes and swords. Don't pigeon hole yourself into a gear choice when there could be better axes/swords to use. Also, it's pretty easy and cheap to just spec into the sword/axe nodes after you get pretty good weapons that will be around for awhile. |

I found this build after getting my first duelist to Cruel difficulty, and slamming my face into the wall known as "survivability". I got stuck at level 40 on him, and I wanted to make sure if I had to reroll, I would do it right this time.
At the moment my new Duelist is level 47, surpassing my previous build with flying colors. So far I've followed your build point for point, other than nabbing an extra +30 Dex node because I could use any of my dex-based skills (That's my own fault for having absolutely no Dex on my gear. Doh, lol) I still die, but a helluva lot less than on my first duelist. If you don't mind I'll try and keep you posted on my progress. |

Is it not worth it to help Oak in Cruel difficulty too? + 12% physical damage looks pretty tempting

wonder if it alright to use determination, grace, and anger aura with this build, but I made little change into the build.
BoomExplosion - Templar (BOOM!)
_Sistar_ - Duelist (currently rerolling him) FakeShooter - Ranger (meh LA, iceshot rangerrr) FakeMaster - Shadow (might start when I get everything) |
