Dying Breath 1.0.6 Unique

i thought that someone already checked the range of that aura and found it very small indeed. that is - almost impossible to keep on all 6-man party members. dont remember where did i read that

also - animate guardian.. i love to hear about this happy fella. he runs like headless chicken and out of the sudden there is no icon in top left corner.. unless there is some magic way of making him staying alive (after CoD fix) i consider people using AG as an argument for anything a story-tellers..
Your unique is a good unique. I have the feeling that if we got all the pieces together and find the right combo to make to level 70 0 deaths.

This unique is slowly becoming the go to weapon to add to animate guardians in level 28 pvp, especially 3v3's. Add Leer Cast and Shackles of the Wretched to your guardian and it's a huge buff.

I was surprised how expensive it was. The b/o's were all reasonable high that were shown on poe.xyz.is. I paid 5 gcp for mine with many other sellers having similar b/o prices. I was originally expecting to pay about a chaos.

Hi,

I am currently running supporter build (level 83!) on Ambush which using Dying Breath. I really like this staff because it represents my idea of supporting - weaken enemies and strengthen allies.
Unique damage aura makes me more attractive in a party. Increased effect of curses is also nice unique mod, which puts me in a curse specialist role.
I am using Arc linked with Added Lighting damage, Lighting Penetration, Elemental Proliferation and Blind. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing triple shock-stacked blinded enemies cursed with Temporal Chains and Enfeeble while granting Grace, Determination, Discipline, Purify of lighting, Clarity and universal unique damage aura.

I love to play support roles and definitely want to use it. But I feel like I am sacrificing too much offensive or defensive stats and unique bonuses doesn't feel so significant while drawback is huge deal. When I curse enemies with Temporal Chains I can't almost see difference when enemies are under aura effect. Damage boost from aura is only like one good passive in skill tree. It takes 2 weapon slots, please make it more interesting!


Here are my ideas and suggestions how to improve Dying breath:

1) Decrease positive and negative effect of aura to 15% and reduce area of effect. But let it benefits from aura passives (increase AoE include). With all aura effect passives it will reach similar effect as possible re-balanced version with little larger area of effect. This will make it more attractive for actual players and less as dps boost bitch for Animate Guardians

2) Add one more useful mod - f.e. 5% reduced mana reserved or Enemies can have 1 additional Curse.

3) If nothing else buff it to possible re-balanced version with little wider AoE.

4) Before I read this thread I thought aura doesn't work on me. Let me see buff icon as well.
