I live to serve.

God knows, I shouldn't enjoy the recreational activity I choose to participate in.

Wow.
According to forum mods "sandwich" is considered an offensive word. Who knew?
The only flaw in your op is the generalization, which begins at sentence two.

Which in a 5 sentence OP is quite a lot :').

Ever think that some people enjoy investing massive amounts in one character in order to truly relate/enjoy playing him/here.

On that same note, due to how the skill system works and the passive tree, you can respec one character into multiple builds over the course of leveling, which happens a lot in 90+ leveling.

Just saying, there is a lot of grey in that pony fart of refracted light.

Note that my second sentence contains a questionmark.

If people enjoy playing just one character to high level, that's their prerogative (clicky link).

I was explicitly stating, if you get bored at high level, you can possibly find new love in the game by rolling a new character.

[edit] It's 5 statements, not 5 sentences. Periods (full-stops) end sentences.

Indeed!

I did hold on to my "main" char for several months, refusing to reroll because of the time I had invested in him. But when the levling-uniques started to fill my gear-chest, I started a new char.

I'm now one of those that reroll often, and even leveling several char at the same time. Leveling-gear makes level 1-31 a breeze, and I like it a lot.

For me, the game starts at level 31. I used to feel that the game started at 60-70, when I started mapping.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
Several issues with reroling:

1.) Leveling up a char is a boring chore

2.) Quest content is faceroll with most builds (unless you gimp yourself on purpose). There is no challenge. Only maps can really test your build.

3.) A build comes to fruition no sooner than lvl 70 (item lvl req., 20 lvl gems, enough passives etc.)

This leaves maps as the most interesting part of the game, which require 80+ level and some decent gear.

Also, what people are mostly bored of is unrewarding grind, not playing at 90+. Reroling doesnt solve that either.

In impenetrable darkness
The "purpose" to as you say "gimp yourself" is to have fun. If you find the faceroll boring, pick a rule set that makes the game fun. Play character-found... or play with one specific heirloom. Use a skill that you've never used before. If this is what you mean by "gimp", you need to realize that it's not a negative.

I agree, but it must be noted that the game is still severely lacking in challenge, even with "gimping" yourself.

Edit : also, are there builds take a keystone within the first 10 levels?(the supposedly build defining nodes in the passive tree?)

Are there builds that skip hp nodes at early levels in order to specialize in something else (either ehp/resis/dps)
This question is in a hardcore setting, i know it can be done without danger in standard, but that is not really my point.

The most boring part about leveling allts, is usually the fact that they all follow the same "path of life nodes" to make the game faceroll. 900hp scion at vaal normal, like Wtf was up with that decision?

Btw i run allts all the time, i enjoy it and it's a fun way to gather some currency. But it must be noted that differentiation at lower levels is nihil. At the same time the nodes in the passive tree have such low value's, that they are only able to mater at low level gear if you stack huge amounts of a single type (most use mass%hp increase for this)
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

Well, that would depend on build.

My current build (warping bond, searing bond with warp totems) comes online at lvl 49, when I equip Soul Mantle.

If you can't make a build work before lvl 70, then I have no option but to say you have a poor understanding of PoE.
This isn't me being a dick, this is what I see as fact.
Facebreaker build comes online at level 16 ffs, do we even play the same game?

NO build is stronger then ST with Shiversting/geofri/rigvald until Gemlevel 17/18. Which is mostly lvl 70~. Yes, even with no skillpoints into any melee/projectile Node.

I tried that more then enough to claim my statement to be true for most of the skills.

E: Stronger in sence of safty/killing power to be clear.
