Why I Don't Get Sick of PoE after a Year

These forums are great. Where personal opinion is considered factually wrong by elitist scum.

Was that even necessary?

Did it amplify your point or anything, because if it did, i am not seeing it :).

Edit : i do however agree for the biggest part with your sentiment. My only point was that even playing with that mindset and rule set for yourself, there are still some fundamental flaws in the game flow in my opinion. And certain balance issue's.

After all these "burnout" type threads, I just wanted to present my opinion on why I haven't "burnt out".

I didn't set out to challenge or antagonise anyone, but people come in here attacking opinion.

So yes, it was necessary.

This was never "your way of playing PoE is wrong", this was always "this is how I continue to enjoy PoE".

I tried to make a positive thread, but haters gonna hate.
Many lewt.
Much desync.
Such rewarding.
Wow.
According to forum mods "sandwich" is considered an offensive word. Who knew?
you sort of provoke tension so i would say it's a circle jerk of haters.

:-D.

No offense intended, but you respond to every post like its a war thread. While in reality they might have just misunderstand your OP. (like i did at first)

Because I roll new builds all the time.

You play one character to level 90+, find it boring? I'm not surprised.

New characters, new builds, all the time. You'll enjoy the game much more.

And no, not every character needs BiS gear.

This ain't no MMORPG, explore possibilities.

too bad there is too many AH3 players infecting the game.
Come on, kids. There are several ways of enjoying this gem of a game. The game appeals to casuals, hardcore no-lifers and everyone in between.

And you know what? It's a good thing.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
i, too, love my shades of grey.

I wish this was the case.

IMHO, though, it's exactly the opposite: too much AH3 trading infecting the game, even though the players would rather not have it at all.

An partly this is what's causing the burnout: the unrewarding grinding to keep the economy in check.

That's only because people read their own emotive intent into text.

They choose to believe I am provoking them, the text itself does not explicitly do that.

I was trying to be objective this whole time, but just get swarmed by people thinking I'm a sandwich (I'm not going to explain this reference, so don't ask).

Because you asume that players who have "burned out" on this game haven't allready tried your masterstroke of an idea allready <.<

You put something on the fora which has been discussed in the burnout discussions enough allready and you open a new thread with no new content.

It just gets old hearing the old "dis game is to be rerolled DERP" again and again when most of the burn outers did a lot of rerolling allready.

Cyclone MARA Beginners and Advanced Guide.
You better "edit" that "sandwich" out or you know who is gonna get you...

And we both know "fun" has a multiple of interpretations. Not one has more value then the other.

And until people find there "fun" within this game, it will be a waste of time for them.
If there is no "fun" for them in this game, they should participate in another game, simple as that.

Why can't you have both, a character that manages to survive and maintain high IIQ endgame maps (75+) to reach high level, and some lesser characters built differently?

Bis or not is irrelevant, both are achievable without them.
You won't have my gear.
