New Chisel Recipe is Lame
" What everyone was begging for was a vendor recipe that was a reliable way to get chisels. That's what this recipe appeared to be at first then you realize that stone hammers are rarer than chisels in maps. So you wonder wtf is the point? The people who don't need chisels are already the ones selling them, now you give them other ways to acquire more. We'll see how this plays out but I suspect the chisel market will crash at first (because everyone is gathering stone hammers atm) then level back out to roughly what it was previously. This recipe is no more common than the normal 40% total quality map that we currently have, that no one really uses and isn't a reliable source for chisels. I'm not mad at the recipe, yes it will help a little and it encourages rerolling as you can build a supply of stone hammers while leveling to be prepared for maps. But this recipe does nothing for the guy trying to sustain 73+ maps. He is better off buying chisels than farming low lvl content looking for stone hammers. I'd like a recipe like the chaos recipe or even the name matching one that allows for passive wealth growth while doing the content you want to do. I don't have to go farm docks to make chaos, it just happens while playing maps. I'd like that type of recipe for chisels as well. That's my gripe. " No, its mainly supposed to boost trade between very low lvl players and mappers, as (indirectly) confirmed by Chris in the 1.05 preview video. Prob. new data shows people are not trading as much as GGG wants, in this MMO trading game. -_- When night falls

" Good thing vendors only change inventory when you level up, oh wait that's a bad thing by the time you reach maps... (It takes ages to level up) Computer specifications:

" I just saw a Driftwood Maul on the Normal Act 3 vendor on a clvl40 character. Does this mean you can get Stone Hammers off any vendor, albeit rarely? Mercenaries: 99

" Thats the problem they created with the horrible trade interaction they put in. | |
" According to GGG trading must be slow and horrible, but also required and more efficient than the alternatives (looting, crafting), which are even more horrible than trading. That's a - We Dun Now What Direction To Steer This Game Of The Year - title right there. When night falls
