HELP Game won't install "Checking Resources" for 14 hours now

Ok so I just had the same issue when trying to reinstall on my ssd. Heres the solution:
Open control panel> system and security> windows firewall> allow a program through firewall and then just go and select the shortcut on your desktop and voila!
