I would love a self found league, but to make it work the drop rates would have to be increased by 5000%. This game offers the stingiest drops of any game that I have ever played, and nothing comes close.

I do not support this. A big portion of this game is trading with fellow players. Not only would that be removed for this league, it would negatively impact the other leagues by splitting the relatively small community up EVEN MORE.

it wouldn't split up if everyone felt the league was less trade centered and more around killing shit.

Of course you can play SF style in any league. But you won't ever experience the total PoE game because you will be grinding forever to acquire jewellers, fusings, alchs, etc. and eventually your interest in playing will grind to a halt.

The whole reason for an SF league is to increase drop rates dramatically to be able to gamble... cough, cough... craft better gear. I do enjoy using jewellers to see if I can 5S or 6S an item and then fuse it to get 5L or with luck a 6L item. The state of PoE right now is that there is no league where you can acquire enough of these to do that kind of crafting. Saving all jewellers and fusings and only craft in late game is a waste of a good game feature. Since trade chat is crap (I quit D3 after 4 months because the AH was/is a crap way for Blizzard to milk the players out of more money), it is a clear signal to all players that the devs are stating (without saying it) that "you will never ever get what you want by doing it yourself". So I must always give in to the dark side of any arpg and trade for the items I want and can never craft it myself? That's a crappy way to treat the loyal solo player fan base.

Sorry for discussing this but the minority who don't want an SFL always have lame reasons for being against it and they are posting their 2¢ so we can't let them dictate what the majority want. This voting poll will let GGG know what the consensus is.
