Whole thing is dumb, a few reasons why:
- Just because you can stay awake for a hundred hours, doesn't mean you'll be playing well all that time, in fact it's probable you'd do a lot better if you slept a bit. Also, your character in game will die when you start getting tired unless you're out-leveling the content by a wide margin, in which case it will be very boring to watch. - You aren't going to raise anything like $500 for doing this. If that's your motivation, just forget the whole thing. - As others have said, you need to forget about driving when doing this. Do what you want to yourself, but don't impose the consequences of your idiocy on other people. - You put GGG in kind of an awkward position with this whole thread. I'm sure they probably want to just let you do whatever the hell you want (and probably will), but if by some far fetched chance something does happen to your physically, the media will place blame on them for not doing anything to stop you. - You're 25 so you're old enough to know your limits? I almost wet myself with laughter reading that. Do wtf you want, but don't use it to beg for money, don't put GGG in an awkward spot over the whole thing, and make sure you are the only one who can possibly suffer if something goes wrong, not pedestrians on a street who are just doing their own thing. |

I was talking about other people, minding their own RL business while you're driving your girlfriend to work after 75 hours with no sleep, potentially about to kill them at any time. And well, I ride a sports bike that requires brain to be pretty on to operate it at all lol, so it's fine, no stress :) If anything, it gets the blood flowing aha. Cars are different story, so easy to fall asleep in them!

Its a neat idea. And if you are the only one at risk more power to you. But if you put someone elses life at risk I hope your own life is the only one taken, not some random stranger that had nothing to do with your own stupidity. I think thats what most people are getting at. Your own life in your hands is fine and I think alot of us are interested to see if you can pull it off. Someone elses life because you think you are fine is not ok. |
