I'll be streaming for 160 out of the 168 hour race coming up.

If it's so easy and uncompetitive, why do the same few people keep winning most of the races, and why aren't you one of them?

Maybe his schedule doesn't allow him to commit to a video game like it's a full-time job.

Letting people quit out of the game without a timer only serves to reduce the skill and risk associated with progressing successfully. How far you get in the game shouldn't be directly proportional to how many times you pressed Alt+F4.

As soon as the desync isn't such an issue, they need to add a timer to prevent this exploitative behavior.

I am sure they will but to answer that guys question:

1/ If I did have the time to commit to a race, I wouldn't have a chance of winning as I wouldn't exploit like those guys and feel cheap about my game.

2/ The same guys may be winning because its the same guys that have cheesing perfected.

Ultimately I still dont have a single answer to my very simple point - you can restore your health and mana within a second and two button presses. In ANY other genre, this massive imbalance would be ripped apart and the game wouldnt stand a chance - so why is such an imbalance fine here? Simply put, D2 had it because it was chock full of exploits that were never addressed - thats no reason for it to be here.

Likewise being able to jump out of a game in a second to avoid death? In any other game, that would be ridiculous but its accepted in this ARPG because it was in D2 (as stated above one of the most exploited games around, see weapon duping etc).

Sorry guys, I cant imagine how alting out of the game and portal bossing is not going to be tweaked. Just wait till open beta and more people see this 'slight' imbalance. :P LOL!

Maybe there will be lots of threads about this in OB and later. But I don't see any reason why they should 'fix this exploit' because boss battles are designed portals in mind. And if you know how to play this game, you don't have to use alt+f4 shortcut. And if you don't know how to play, you will die anyway sooner or later.

The Merveil, Brutus and Vaal Oversoul fights now lock the door behind you for the duration of the fight, so that players aren't able to retreat to the linked area. Portals are still allowed.

They will block portals in boss battles if they change their minds and change boss battles somehow.

Mobs just need to regenerate rapidly whenever no player is on the map. The only problem is that they don't heal at all unless they specifically have a regen affix, making any fight trivial if you have enough portal scrolls and the boss doesn't one-shot you. The ability to portal up for a full heal and potion refill with no consequences whatsoever is fundamentally flawed, but there'd be no problem with going up to reset the fight if things go wrong. The issue is with the full heal and potion refill that players get while mobs don't even have slow passive regen.
does anyone know if this guy is ok someone said he started throwing up on stream and complaining of headaches and then i havent heard anything.
