Chris already stated in a interview that alt-f4 is totally ok to do in HC, as well as the town portal tricks on bosses. That being said, I haven't actually watched the stream, but using a bot for doing the alt-f4 is not ok in anyway.

I doubt that - so its 'hardcore' to quit out of a game because your char is overwhelmed? Sorry what is hardcore about that exactly? I thought this game would have had timers for people that alt out - real shame, as people will always take the abusive quick way out. And thats not what hardcore is about.

It's true, Chris has said multiple times that it is okay to alt-f4. You say that it's not 'hardcore', but I say it's not 'hardcore' to die to a desync or die to being stuck in a wall. This is probably why they are saying it is okay to alt-f4. Also it would be dumb if they actually were to ban people for alt-f4'ing... the game would become a joke.

I really don't want to be rude or anything but i've read most replies from page 1 and I've never ever saw the OP ask for money, be rude with others or say anything worth arguing. He said he wanted to do something that's considered by most to be dangerous. People can give their opinion about that but that is as far as it goes. Constant hostile remarks about it etc etc.

I wished him luck when I first saw this link. I've watched for like 40-50% and I actually had a couple of convo's with him on Twitch and he's a pretty laid back guy. Nicely responding to questions, explaining stuff etc. He didn't flame/rage/make hostile remarks against people saying the dumbest things to him or flatout insulting him. I'm not defending him or anything but besides warning him about health issues people have NO REASON AT ALL to say bad things to him. He's not doing it to others so why should you?

That said, GZ on the 70 hours Euphoreia. You're stream went down after and I could read only half of the title but i'm assuming you're having a good sleep now.

ALT-f4ing was a huge part of Hardcore in Diablo 2, as was the TP in boss fights. Don't complain about a mechanic that is useful and which allows harder bosses.
