First of all sorry for double thread, made this one so non-caster can get some love.

Im kinda busy for now so if you wish to get your skill in the list make it this format:

Raging fire : Linked spell(or attack) cannot crit and do 50% less damage vs non-burning targets. If the target is under the ignite condition, the linked spell(or attack) fire damage get 100% damage bonus [Created by Reddart]

Makeshift Animation: Summons a Golem with attached skills and supports, benefits from minion nodes and player stats attributed to the attached skills/spells. Only one Golem can be active at a time. Drawback - Reserves x% mana while active.[Created by Vtality & Powerhunger]

Physical domination: When you hit an ennemy, each hit make his defence decrease by 10%

Animus - Killing a target with the linked skill causes the corpse to rise as a zombie. You can have up to 3 maximum zombies at once (overlaps with raise zombie and benefits from minion passives)[Created by Manofdusk]

Death Knell - When you kill a target with this ability while you are below 100% life, the corpse is destroyed and you are healed for x % of the creature's maximum life.

-Buzzcut:support gem that has a %chance on melee hit to trigger the refill and restore energy shield

Fire

Rage of Fireflies: Spell AOE Lighting Fire Duration

Sets an area of ground on fire with electricity. [Created by leighferon]

Melt: Fires a molten bolt that deals Fire Damage and Reduces Target's Armour by 10% for 5 seconds.[Created by echephron]

Scorched Earth: Turns the ground into a blazing carpet that burns the enemies that walks into it ( cannot Ignite, makes them 5% faster)[Created by Augustrad]

-fisure: open a rift that sucks enemies to it and do fire damage (magnet like)

-Meteor: Attract celetial debrees and make them fall on your foes

-hydra: You all know hydras, but instead of being copies of totems, they can go underground and follow you. they can only attack when you dont move for 1sec, their damage is less than totems

Immolate
- Ignites all targets in the area as though X fire damage had been dealt.[Created by Manofdusk]

-volcano: Call out the earth's core magmatic fluids in a burst of burning liquid metal


Cold

Cold Fusion (Spell, AoE, Cold) : Shatters all chilled enemys under 35% HP, causing each chilled enemy to explode for "x" AOE damage to surrounding targets.

-Lightning storm Make the clouds your friends and summon a lightning storm from the sky(like real ones... meteor style)

-Boulders: Unloads a pile of rocks over the ennemies

CHAOS

Swarm:AOE Spell Chaos Duration

Covers an area with chaos damaging butterflies. Spell damage increases the damage of the butterflies even though their damage is small it is a good distraction.

War Machine Support - Links with a melee skill. This would be the analogue of Spell and Ranged Totem. Basically a mobile totem that looks like a golem. Its base life would be 50% more of what the distance totems have due to
Gorilla Shaman: Minion AOE

Summons a Gorilla Summoner that calls his dead allies from the ground to fight for u. Also cast frenzy cry. (His minons cannot be affected by minion passives or support gems. Only he can since he is the spell u cast.)[Created by leighferon]

Witch Doctor: Spell Curse Chain Buff Minion

Cast a curse on a single enemy. When the enemy dies it revives as a random Chaining Leeching Healer to u and ur allies. As the spell raises in levels, u are able to chain to more targets.[Created by leighferon]

Death Scarabs - Inflicts x physical damage per second to all targets in the swarm. X % of the damage is leeched back to you.[Created by Manofdusk]

-Terra Cota : summons a terra cota Archer

Tendrils - Summon corrupted tendrils from the ground that latches onto enemies, immobilising them for a brief period as well as dealing X amount of chaos damage per second. Levelling up the gem would add more tendrils and increase chaos damage. Increased duration would affect the duration of the tendrils grasp. High mana cost.[Created by Hojirozame ]

-parasiting: attack that spread roaches on the ground which does physical damage to enemies and have a %chance to make em flee
Curses

Numb: Chills your foe which reduces it'S Evasion[Created by echephron ]

Dark Possession: Possess one standard enemy for 30 seconds, damage taken is sustained by the possessed mob instead. Skill is canceled upon creature's death.[Created by Mornings ]

-Defibrilation: Curse an ennemy, all the lightning damage he does to you is turned into healing ( one enemy at a time)

-kamikaze: Turn a subenemy and turn it into a frenzied bomber that will rush to where you want and explode

- Momentum: Slows enemy projectile and spell speed


Auras:

Divinity- reservers 20% of your mana, increased accuracy. dex gem [Created by Galneryus]

Cruelty- reserves 40% of your mana, increases crit chance. int gem[Created by Galneryus]

RETALIATE : after being struck the attack releases a skockwave (360°) for a certain period of time

Sacrificial Hemorrhage: Aura that makes you bleed 5% life/sec. In counterpart every ennemies within x feet radius get his double the ammount Blood shed in damage and you get half poison duration.

Path of Silence Ennemies cannot hear and see you if you are over [Insert balanced distance here] away. The aura effect break during X seconds when using a skill/attack/flask. Doesn't work on unique bosses. [Created by Reddart

-Telekinesis- Wand spell that knockback the enemy right on a nearby other one, if none slams it on the ground stunning it

-AbraKadabra- Wand spell that Makes you invisible for 1 second while summoning a clone of you luring monsters

Singularity - Fires a gravitational orb to a location that sucks in nearby enemies. Levelling up the gem would increase the AoE. A cooldown would probably be needed, which could be bypassed with a power charge.[Created by Hojirozame ]

-Magical entanglement; defencive wand spell that cuff enemies, they cant perform attack for 5 seconds but get 10% more movement speed

Unarmed

Iron Fist: Strength's Damage Bonus applies again to all unarmed and claw attacks

Round House Kick:Unleash a powerful kick that does incredible damage and stuns a single ennemy [Created by twistedforce]

-Brutality: Skill that uses bare hands as main weapon (when socketed in weapon, this one's skin disapear) and has chances to stun

-bear hand: same as Brutality but makes enemy bleed and have lifeleach


Staff:

CRUCIFY: melee attack that unleashes homing spikes

-Long Shaft : Staff/pike attack that (in the animation) enlenght the staff reaching and slam far enemies and those on the path of the hit

Bow:

Lead Arrow - Fires a forceful arrow that does immense physical damage to the enemy, knocking them back. Requires a Bow. 150% damage effectiveness.[Created by Islidox]

Pinning Arrow - Fires an arrow that pins the enemy in place upon impact for several seconds (short duration) while dealing physical damage over that time. Requires a Bow. 60% damage effectiveness.[Created by Islidox]

Bolo shot: Shoots an arrow attached with a bolo that do 3 turns arround the targets ennemy causing physical damage into this area

Whirling Dervish: Player that is dual wielding spins around constantly doing 75% damage in aoe .Player has 15% chance to dodge attacks and spells takes 10% mana per second.[Created by Lactose]

Shield Bash:Attack AOE:Hits targets in front of u in a cone converting 50% of ur shield block % into more damage through stages. while u are hitting targets the damage increases. as each stage increases u gain more damage and loose more block % up to 50% of shield block. u loose 50% of ur shield block rate at the highest stage. (its a reave for ppl that want to use a shield to attack)

Spectral Hammer:

AOE Chain Physical Spell

Throws an ethereal physical hammer that chains to X (3-5 enemies as it lvls). Each enemy hit creates an aoe shock-wave that hits nearby enemies within range, doing only 50% of the physical damage of the spell to nearby enemies. [Created by leighferon]

Rend : Swing a 2h axe or sword to your ennemy. If the target dies, it shatters dealing 200% of the extra damage to nearby ennemies[

u]Sonic Boom[/u] (Red Gem):A swing so Powerful that compresses the air and sends a shockwave in a cone in front of the character. Enemies have a chance of catching a concussion, slowing them down by X over Y seconds.Acts as projectile.[Created By Syde]

Arcane Shield:Spell AOE Buff Duration:Increases u and ur allies energy shield by 30% more for 10 sec and after it ends reduces ur energy shield by 30% less for 10 sec(unless someone else cast it and resets the timer). 20 sec CD. Regenerates all energy shield on cast. (ES version of Immortal Call/ES heal)

Energy napalm:
15 sec cast , takes all your ES amplifies it times 1000 and creates a nuclear explosion that ripples across the whole screen.
Leaves you naked for the next 20 seconds
Phase Blade: Summon a magical blade that does 1.3 aps, base damage is (0.4* player level Physical,elemental and chaos damage. This skill Doubles the effect of the linked Support gem ( including mana multiplier). This skill reserves 30% mana
The ultimate gamble Instant cast - channel the spell for 1.5 seconds. If you receive lethal damage during this channel you are granted full life and mana, also an aoe knock-back with no damage is cast. If you don't receive lethal amount of damage during the channel - you die after the channel.[By soulproxy]
Elemental Hazard : Skill gem, melee, require a shield / 100% weapon dmg to one target, if you crit, the target get ignited,shocked,frozen during X seconds. If you crit while the target is under any one of ignite or shock or frozen status, that status is applied to you. [Created by Reddart]

when spells look like other spell i like to make them stronger in one aspect and add a downside it helps the diversity.

just thought of one again. Or its more of a question too. But is there basically a lightening bolt in the game? Like just a straight ball of lightening you shoot. I looked at the list and didn't see it, so i guess you can add it too.

You have sparks that has the same mechanic has D1 and D2's lightning bolt...

i guess that while they are in they get damage and once its done if they are not dead they reappaer

I like the idea.
The idea of a custom skill sounds vary fun indeed.

How about more 'transformation', or 'possession' styled skills?
Something that makes you temporarily possess a mob and control them,
or something that can transform you into some kind of creature?
Might be worth a thought as well, think that might be a fun little utility
for some people running different kinds of magic.
