Juggernaut : Support

50% of movement speed converted to damage % and 2% physical damage increase per 1000 armor.

i.e 30% movement speed + 5k armor = 25% increased physical damage.


Resonating Smash : Melee , Shield , AoE

stun enemies for x seconds based on armor and deal x damage per second based on armor.


Impact : Melee , AoE , Support (Support for Shield Charge, ever been bowling? )

Knocking enemies flying. +damage and +radius based on armor.


Ancestral shields : melee , AoE

Summon ethereal shields that surround the player reducing enemy armor and dealing damage per second. ( Similar skill to Druids Hurricane from Diablo 2 )
prismatic armor(self cast like tempest shield):
cost: 60% mana reserved
effect: reduce elemental dmg by armor * (0.005*lv)
quality: reduce chaos dmg by armor * (0.002*lv)

effect: +1000% chance to crit, reduce attack and cast speed by 200%, +5%* gem lv to dmg.
quality: +2% to crit multiplier per point of quality

burning phoenix (self cast like tempest shield)
cost: (4*lv)% of max hp/ES as burning dmg per sec
effect: deal (3*lv)% of max hp/ES as burning dmg to enemys around you, +0.5*lv to max hp regen when activated, dispells when 1hp.
quality: 1% to max fire ress every 10 lvs.

cost: 150%
effect: increase aura effectivness by 3*lv
quality: +1lv yo aura every 10 quality lvs.

mana cost: 20% mana cost per second
effect: mana reservation becomes a mana degen
example: an aura that reserves 60% on a manapool of 1000, intead of reserving 600 mana it will degen 120 per sec

cost: 120%
description: aura no longer provides a boost to players, intead provides a negative effects to creeps, half the effect for bosses.
effect: aura effectivness -50%, +3*lv to aura effectivness.
quality: reduce mana reserved by 0.3*lv

to give an example, vitality gives 1.5% hp regen, with this aura that boost will be lost but instead enemy creeps inside aura will get -0.75% (lv 1)/ -1.65% (lv20) hp degeneration.

When you deal a critical strike, you gain 1 charge. When you take physical or lightning damage, a charge is consumed to reduce the damage by (gem level*X). Each charge reserves 1% mana. 50 max charges.

Chilling Smash

A str/int skill (Mainly str.) that imo needs to be added so that templars that go elemental melee can also use Sceptres as a more viable option and scale an AoE attack with elemental damage. Replaces stupid ground slam (Skill doesnt make sense for Templar tree.) for quest reward after killing Hillock.

Glacial Hammer is your single target.
Chilling Smash is for multiple targets.

Chilling Smash:

Deals 80 percent of damage.
Radius: 25 (In a circle around the mob that was hit by the skill.)
Converts 35 percent of physical damage to Cold.
Increases physical damage and Cold damage per level in percentage.
Has 5 percent chance to Freeze each enemy that was hitted by the ice. The mob that was hitted by the attack has 10 percent chance to get frozen.
Quality: 0,5 chance to freeze per Quality.


"Adds chilling and fragile ice onto your weapon. Upon attacking one enemy, the ice breaks, and hits enemies that are nearby. The enemy that is hit recieve the same damage as all the enemies within the AoE radius. Only Works with Maces (Including sceptres.) and Staves."

Melee,AoE,Cold.

I think its kinda stupid that Glacial Hammer builds haft to use Ground Slam as their AoE. I dont consider lightning strike as a real AoE either. Ground Slam doesnt scale of Catalyze, (Not counting added fire support gem and Auras, but the skill itself.) which forces you into using Hrimsorrow unique Gloves and/or Hatred aura.

Also, the ground slam ITSELF does not gain any benefits from the elemental damage on Sceptres.

How would the Galvanic Hammer sceptre node on the passive tree ever be usefull for Ground Slam? It is not, but with Chilling Smash this node makes perfect sense.
Shape shifting skill gems. I would love to see a whole category of this.

can only use melee weapons/skills

-10$ ES
-10% ele resists
eat corpse to heal a ??? amount of health
2% life steal

Lich

can only use range weapons/skills
-10% health
-10% Dex
-10% Str
10% int
10% ES
10% ele resists
Lich can summon lvl ??? Ghost
2% mana steal

I have no idea what would be balanced these are just examples

Rapid Thrusts: Attack, Melee, AoE
A series of thrust with a reversed cone AoE (affected by increases to Melee Weapon Range) that gets sharper the longer it reaches and a slight deviation in direction (like Barrage). Thrustable weapons only.

Magic Missiles: Spell, Homing, Projectile, AoE
Fires 1~5 spinning projectiles in random directions, which stops after 0.5s and then chases valid targets. Explodes, dealing area damage, on impact. Can't be used with CoC.

Auto-Cast: Spell, Support
Linked spell reserves mana and occurs at set intervals depending on your cast speed.

Ground Zero: Support, AoE
% Less Damage. Instantly repeats the skill twice: one with % More AoE and one with % Less AoE.

Mana Weaponry: Spell(or Cast?), Melee, Bow
Reserves mana, granting extra Melee Weapon range and % of your damage as extra SPELL damage to your attacks. Attacks cost additional mana to perform. (Yes, basic attacks will cost mana :p)
really fun to read stuff from so long ago and see some that came true and might have influenced the fate
