Removal of the naked chained women from the health and mana globe

I think you should remove the naked chained women from the health and mana globe, because it feels like cheap eye candy that don't go along well with the rest of the world.
I know the case have been brought to the attention of the developers and users numerous times, but I would still like to explain why I think it should go.

Let's start by clearing off a few common misconceptions :

First, it is not a question of it being offensive. I am personally quite found of things that would be considered offensive by many peoples, including for instance the movie Vampire Girl versus Frankenstein Girl. It does include many awful blackface scene, like that.
But there is a reason for that : Ganguro is some Japanese fashion which looks like the girl with the orange skin in the first part of the video. It involves some kind of artificial tanning, I guess. So, in the logic of VGvsFG (not mine), being obsessed with tanning is wanting to be black, and wanting to be black is actually trying to mimic the most offensive prejudices against black people (hay Japan !). And those ganguro blackface girls are included because they play a role in the story :

So, this is very offensive, but it fits very well in the whole gory “what the hell is going on” mess that is the movie.

Second, it's not a question of trying to censor nudity. There is no problem with the nakedness of the tentacle miscreation (my favorite Spectre !), or the statues, or the bloodied corpse in the background of the Solaris temple, for instance. Because all of those looks like relevant part of the story. The miscreations being naked only emphasize more on the dehumanizing and brutal treatment they have been subjected too, and nobody in their right mind would have expected Piety to care enough about her victims to give them clothes. The statues… well, looks like classic statues, who just animated and now wants to kill you. In both case it's pretty clear why they are here, and at least in the case of the miscreations, it works wonder to reinforce the general tone of the story.

However, there is no explanation about why there are two chained naked girls holding those globes, and they really don't fit in with the tone of the story, in my opinion. There is no context given to help understand their presence (obviously, since the UI don't really exist in-universe, I guess), and their relatively lascivious pose makes them look like some kind of BDSM-light pin-ups.
Yes, pin-up. Those are creepy submissive pin-ups left here only for eye-candy, while the butchered corpse at the end of the game are victims of the brutal treatment from Piety and co., left there to make the player feels how depraved and inhuman Piety and Dominus are.

I don't like creepy submissive pinups in my dark gritty game :(. It's one thing to fight guys doing creepy stuff, it's another completely different when we are supposed to enjoy creepy stuff as eye-candy for it's own sake.

Oh, I forgot, there is something else : if the pinups were to be removed, then there should be something in their place.
So, I wanted to know : what would you place instead ?
I think we should look for something more related to the actual story.
So, the main focus are :
- Being exiled (duh !) to a wild place
- Horrific experiment on humans
- Religious extremism/hypocrisy
What else ?
Also, we may try to pin some specificity for each globe :
- Strength-related figure for health and intelligence-related figure for mana ?
- Defense-related figure for health and attack-related figure for mana, as suggested by someone on the other thread ?
Or something else ?

Yes, except with new arguments since I had no time to develop mine into this thread, and they are not exactly the same as Ganrao's.

My suggestion is the addition of more naked chained women to the globes. I'm tired of seeing huge statue cock.
