GGG: Your System encourages RMT and Botting.

Intro:

I love this game. Finally, after i had ~10 lvl 65 chars in Anarchy OB, i managed to finally lvl up one Char to 87 and witness all the Content (I solo'd up to 78 Maps).

Alone from grinding Piety 68-80 I had all gear i needed to compete in the maps and i only got 1 "upgrade" which is my shield (more offensive power, less defensive power).

Now I "beat" the game essentialy, with a 5link armor and some mediocre gear. 2 weeks ago I set myself the goal to try to reach the 8 Challenges, which is totally doable in 3 month.

I also want to 6L / Eternal exalt my armor just for the LULZ. I dont need it, my DPS doesnt need it since i can clear all content in a timely manner, its just for me as a Self-challenge.



Allready "wasted" 300 fuses on it, had 3 5 links allready :D.

Actuall Problem:

Look, im a patient person. I dont care if my armor takes another 2k fuses, as i have plenty of time. But one Problem is very imminent: Farming gets boring. Trading gets boring.


After 2 weeks of everyday 1-2h Domruns for Chaosrecipe, it gets dull and boring. I tryed every build i wanted in Anarchy (Totem buidls with ranged/spelltotem / Melee with any melee gem available/ summoners/ Rangers/ trappers).

The problem is: the goals i set myself do not have a "Visible" finishline do reach. I can't calculate the time i need to invest to reach my next step.

Do I need 2k more fuses or does the next fuse 6L it? do i need 100 Eternals and 200 Ex to craft my armor or do I 3time YOLOexalt it and win?

It takes the fun out of the game, the fun out of the monster grind. I am a patient man, i dont care if it takes me 3 month or if i dont make it at all.

But there are other people out there. There are people who want the fast way. The argument is: If i need 100 h of dull farming gamplay, I also could run a BOT or work 2h longer this week and buy me that shit I need at RMT.

As long as you completly leave Crafting and reaching "finish lines" out to COMPLETE RNG RMT and botting will grow and all your efforts will be invain.

If you don't belive me, you should investigate the botting history of an online MMO called TIBIA.

Conclusion:

Im having a Blast slow playing NM, and participating in Races. But the "finishing" of my "main" Character gets dull.

I DO NOT WANT THIS GAME FALL TO BOTTING OR RMT. Please reconsider your complete RNG system, because "impatient" players will always seek a shortcut through Botting and RMT.

You're setting the goals... not them. You've set boring goals and you're bored. Quit it.

Sounds like the rational of a cheater... basically blaming the game because they want to cheat, while others play the game without cheating and are still having fun.

It seems odd to be complaining about not liking the goal you set for yourself. If I found myself in that situation I would drop that self imposed goal.

RMT is targeting PoE big time because how successful it is profiting from players hopelessly bashing their heads against PoEs shitty progression.

Or did you think PoE has bad luck when every other online game has nowhere near its level of RMT advertising? ;)

I have a HUGE variety of different Chars to play in Dumpsterleague.

Thats true. Its not the goal is too big, it is that farming the SAME 2 areas, even as a "casual" player 1h/day from now on, is just plain boring.

Racing is not boring. Nemesis in not boring. Farming the same 2 areas is.

Maybe you should try building a map pool instead of farming the same two bosses over and over.

Ehh, seems you've already done that on Anarchy. Try it with a new character on Domination. Try challenging yourself on Nemesis. Try racing.

+1 stash tab full of 66-69. Been there, done that. Maps do not bring me further to my goal.

E: Self farmed. 86-87 tried up my map pool but who cares. I blue rolled maps up to 76 just for fast exp maps.

NM= Nemesis, so you're well into hardcore already with a nice map pool and you're enjoying races.

Try coming up with a good unique build of your own? You seem to have the aptitude for it.

This thread is not about me beeing bored with my DOM character, its about people who are bored/cant be arsed to farm hundreds of hours and then refer to RMT /Botting.

I have found a way to enjoy POE in various ways, thanks for your concern.
