SweetFX
Sounds like a stupid question but does RadeonPro only work with ATI cards or can you use it with a GeForce card?

Wanted to post an updated opinion:
Not worth using, after hearing a few people saying the changing your monitor settings will get you nearly the same effect I did a bit of testing and confirmed this. On my BenQ monitor changing the picture mode from "standard" to "game" pretty much does the same effect if not better. Sweetfx looks pretty good but it definitely darkens the game too much, and the program doesn't seem to be written well on top of it all. So to everyone with an Nvidia wishing you could use this just wanted to let you know you're not missing out. Just uninstalled/deleted it myself, will just leave the monitor on "game" mode now. |

" This is absolutely, 100% WRONG. SweetFX includes things that you CANNOT do just tweaking your monitor, including applying a vignette, applying subpixel morphological anti-aliasing, applying a color correction shader (like the DPX shader or lift-gamma-gain, the former of which changes colors in a manner that is reminiscent of older cinema and the latter of which allows you to individually change the color ranges in shadows, midtones, and highlights), or applying a sharpening effect. Of course you wouldn't realize this if you never even bothered trying to tweak it, which is missing the point entirely. The game is lessened by the inability to use this option. |

As much as i like SweetFX, being unable to use it in PoE doesn't bother me that much. A contrast and brightness slider in the video options would have been great, though.

apparently it should work on nvidia cards with radeonpro! just install radeonpro, enable the sweetx flag and leave everything else alone. Will try this later.

" Seriously, I thought RadeonPro was only for ATI/AMD cards. Will give this a go and report back. Edit: Confirmed working. Last edited by Paranoidjack_#2803 on Jan 28, 2013, 7:18:00 AM
