New Vendor Recipes_Found (not by me though)

I am not going to take any credit.

Saw this post and haven't seen anything about it on the Forum.

BUMP for attention!
Finally some semblance of crafting :)

And if this works all the way up to max ilvl tier of stats = win.
If this works with rares too, my mind will be blown.

Inb4 price of flasks rockets up, and regals as well
Really great find, thanks for sharing.

You can't reach a tier that requires a higher ilvl than the weapon you are crafting with.

Also, from what I gathered, if you use it on a non-white item, it strips it of all other mods before upgrading the damage tier.

So you can't, for example, craft a tri-elem damage, or first roll a good suffix and then add damage this way.

It's still a nice way to build a good base, and definitely a step in the right direction for crafting.

Am I the only one missing the point of this?

Like any point at all?
Casually casual.

Get a bunch of Granite flasks, save some Alts in the whole Trans-Alt-Regal-Exalt crafting scheme.

That's about it.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.
It's the start of something beautiful, that's what it is.
That's me! I found it!

What do I win?

Actually I'm curious to know if I was really the first person to do it. It's so simple that surely someone did it by mistake. (Does GGG have the ability to check?)

For some reason I couldn't get it to up the flat phys tier on a rare or blue (pretty sure the weapons were high enough) only add the first tier to a white.

For ele, though, it would upgrade the tier.

The only use I could think of.

Say I am wanting to start with an electrocuting of incision.

If I roll a lightning dmg <max, I vendor recipe it until max lightning, then try for incision.

Which seems of some, but not much use, as actually rolling the high lightning isn't that rare and can come with incision to boot.

Ah well.

Edit, apparently the recipe will upgrade but not past tempered.
If this is the case with ele, too, only to 2nd top tier, the recipe just lost the small use it might have had.

Edit 2, lol, it is capped at 2nd top tier for phys and ele. Useless recipe.
Casually casual.
