Had significantly less issue with him every other time so far; 1st time he was a bitch from hell.
As it stands, I would say anything with good damage reduction gear is fine for killing him and is fairly easy (as he instant kills you through multiple hits) And any character with flickerstrike or traps of your own can generally obliterate him without much effort. I managed to face tank him to death on one of my more tanky characters recently, and to instagib him with an assassin by flickerstrike dodging all of the projectiles. He does certainly BUTCHER any character who isnt expecting him though :/ |

Died 3 times with my minion army (10 Skeletons, 6 Zombies, 3 Spectre)
Decided to use my animated weapons with white weapons I stored away by using portal scrolls. I dropped my white weapons until I reached about 15 Weapons with 10 Skeletons, 6 Zombies and 3 Spectres. Got to admit, it was really funny :) |

" oh you just set it to private, not like I said it because you had no character, no achievement, no challenge, no racepoint or anything else .... That means that Saffell is completely OP atm, it has not been nerf with Elemental Adaptation / Purity, and where is the build diversity when a lot of people are just swapping it in order to fight some bosses .... screw this. So yeah, it's like when people used to run auras from alpha's howl and then swap it, even though it's not that "bad" -> abuse. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

" [Removed by Admin] there is nothing op about saffell, you cant block attacks with it. But instead of statting max block and using a shield with RS + SOL, or rathpith / sol, you can use one shield and get a decent spell block amount. 5 max res is nice, but not op Using a spell block shield to block spells is no more broken than using any other shield to block attacks and lol @ comparison with alpha howl / covenant glitches. " That's definitely why they nerfed elemental adaptation from 5 to 2 and dedicated max elemental res to 3 different auras ... because it was just "nice" and not op .... or not ://. This item is definitely OP and needs to be adjusted as the rest was, I don't care about what you think, this is a damn obvious fact. Switching to a shield to become almost godlike against some bosses that could rape you without it is ridiculous. " EA was nerfed because they could reach 100+ res, it was either it or saffell, and nerfing it was the most logical solution as a lot of builds had it but not saffell. Purity was split into 3 for variety's sake. You now get more res and max res vs one element, so if anything they wanted to buff not nerf, and your argument is destroyed. And its cool you dont care what I think, cuz guess what neither do I. Only a demented fool would think spell block is any more OP than attack block, or that saffell is OP, or compare it with glitches like alpha howl / covenant |
