[1.1.0] Spectral Melter (Spectral Throw Crit Shadow )

Why not cast on crit + ice spear for your gems? I've been destroying with it, especially how many times ST can crit on one attack.
anyone else having problems with accuracy? atm im 58 in merc and i have 85%. Maybe im missing a major accuracy node or something..

not actually, you need accuracy in your gloves/Rings/Amulet if you can.
Im lucky and i got over 200 accuracy on weapon/1 ring and gloves each*
Just wanted to let you guys know that I am also going with this build since release and I am quite happy so far.

Did some major adjustments to my build and I am very happy how it turned out. My DPS is still not the best, but I can farm Catacombs in Merciless no problem and accumulated almost 30 maps so far. I am still missing a high dps and high attack speed Dagger, because I do not want to rely on "Faster Attacks" in endgame. I think Mana Leech is more important, so you can free up a Flask spot.

My Gear:

Spoiler

My (s)KillTree so far:

I'm planning to get "Stabbing Comeback" for the plus on DPS and Life. After that I will go towards "Pressure Points" or "Aspect of Panther". Didnt decide yet.

You should use the 2% mana leech in the shadow tree instead of a mana leech gem. That should be more than enough.

i intentionally specced out of mana leech to get an additional point i could invest.

i got my hand on a pretty decent dagger with nice IAS. so my plan was to get rid of faster attacks with a fast dagger to put in mana leech.

i also have 1% mana leech ring which is absolutely enough to maintain mana when nuking bosses with DS.

so bottom line is; i do not need the 2% mana leech node. so i used it somewhere else.

i will play around a little bit more with mana leech on gear and maybe i will link

with ST in future instead of mana leech.

Life Based Build still going strong in Nemesis, currently lvl 83.

My current build:

My current gear:
Spoiler

My current gem links:
5L Double Strike - Faster Attacks (Would change for Added Fire Damage) - Multistrike - Melee Physical Damage - Increased Critical Damage
4L Spectral Throw - Lesser Multiple Projectiles - Faster Attacks - Increased Critical Damage
4L Reduced Mana - Hatred - Grace - Haste
4L Cast When Damage Taken - Enduring Cry - Molten Shell - Critical Weakness

Current stats with my items using Hatred + Haste:
4706 life
34 999 dps Double Strike
4469.6 dps Spectral Throw

The next two levels I will most likely pick up Aura Effect and Influence. I might respec some points later on if I get enough to unlock e.g. a full chain of crit multiplier nodes.

Thanks for the updates! I jumped right into Nemesis without knowing anything about the game so your posts really help with planning my progress.

The most important thing to think about when playing nemesis and leveling is that you have to adapt to your current gear. I have respeced several points back and forth to optimize my survivability and damage.

Don't be afraid to waste your free respecs, and even blowing a few regrets. "Doing it right the first time" will not help you if you die.

Also, having good flasks will become really important towards cruel/merciless. Even if you might not want to spend all your alterations on having "perfect flasks" before you can use the best versions of them all, make sure to have a bleed removal at hand. Corrupted blood can and will kill you if you don't handle it properly. I updated my current gear list in my previous post with the flasks I like to run. Some people will disagree with the Topaz flask, but getting shock stacked might escalate a situation for the worse really quick.
